really nice tool it says it will cut 1mm metal and it does a reasonable job on brass. I'd not like to have to cut much sheet stainless with it though. I think it would maybe manage but struggle. the were very good for snipping through 2m stainless bolts though and no marks on the blade.The first thing I tried to cut was 2.5mm hardened copper and it wouldn't get through that. just too much material to move out the way I think.They feel like chunky scissors on tin can and would make very short work of any aluminium I think.One thing to note is you will find these quite uncomfortable if you have small hands. The handles must be long to provide leverage but it does mean that the grip is very large and not practical for small hands.

This product is good provided you are only wanting to cut small pieces. Doesn't work well on larger sheets. Think I would have preferred the offset version but cannot fault this product.

I have used them for cutting 22g & 20g mild steel cut through it reasonably easy on 22g a bit more difficult on 20g considering I have arthritis in both hands so would recommend them.

You could buy 3 pairs for the same price as these. The reviews for the cheaper ones were pretty bad, these are nice quality heavy and strong, they cut quite well too.

These are very good tin snips.I hve used them to cut 2mm Aluminium Checker Plate and Heavy Duty Wire Mesh.They did the job easy.I would defo reccomend them.

Widely spaced handle levers and quite heavy in the hand. Cuts well leaving a slightly serrated edge which is easily removed. Good quality construction.

For the price, I didn't expect something as good. I haven't yet tried it on thicker gauge steel, but it cut through a mesh grille with ease.

Thetydo the job and do it well, I needed to cut some 1.5 mm sheet to make some holders for guards on my grinder.

These snips are brilliant precision made cut as straight as you are ever going to need cannot recommend enough

Had old version for about 8years dissapered off site baught these less than 10 good quality happy days

I have only just got these but they seem fine. Have used them to cut through 1mm aluminium with ease

Perfect for quite a few jobs that I've used it for when nothing else would do the job as well.

Compared to the cheap sets you buy - this is like a Rolls Royce of cutters. Really well made.
