There's no getting away from the fact that this is rather expensive for what you get.However, I've now owned this for 2 years and it has proved its worth many times.Its great for stripping the outer insulation off of twin and earthThe slitting feature is really useful when you need to strip long lengths.It's also one of the few strippers that really works well with co-ax cable.I was worried that the blades would become too blunt to be of use after a while, but 2 years on, they're still working great without any issues.Overall it's still in perfect condition, it's well designed and tough, (always make sure you close it before you put away).So, yes, it is expensive, but if you need to do a lot of cable stripping,

I've had one of these for about 3 years now, and I can honestly say that it is one of the tools I come back to time and again - in fact if there is a wire I can't use it on (larger, square profile for example) it is a total pain having to go back to wire-stripping the old-fashioned way. In terms of function, I can't recommend it highly enough - 5 stars all the way.However, I've got to acknowledge the price - it is far too expensive, hence the stat knocked off. If it was £25, I would call that fair but £36+ is too much. That being said, if I lost mine, i would definitely replace it as it is just so useful.

Works much better than I expected, it's something that's nice to keep in the tool bag for those moments you're stripping a lot of wire, i stripped 8 pairs of 16/2 awg speaker wire effortlessly with these, no knicks or ragged ends. These won't replace a dedicated wire stripper, it's more of a supplementary tool, that if was maybe $5 less would be perfect besides cost it's so lightweight it won't hurt to keep it on you. I'd like to see a more robust version of these with awg and replaceable blades.

This is a fantastic tool. The wire stripper is effortless and intuitive, as it should be. Removing sheathing from multi strand wiring is also a breeze. While this tool doesn’t do every job, the things that it does do, it does well. For me the best part is removing sheathing without fear of nicking the the interior wires with my clumsy hands. . I’m no sparky, but this tool certainly makes dealing with wiring less of a chore.

Ehh... they are cool, but only if you are really a super tool nerd. If you appreciate innovation and like things that are other than ordinary you will love these for their charm, but aside for a couple of the really cool features (the scoring blade, and the spring loaded side that strips Cat cables super quickly) the rest of it is just cool but not as efficient as most standard pliers style strips.

Only had a few days, so far so good. Only used them on offcuts so far.I know for certain they are going to make unsheathing flex much easier.The 1.5/2.5/etc etc stripping is excellent with no obvious nipping into the copper conductors underneath.I wish I bought this tool years ago.My only little gripe is that I feel it could be maybe a bit bigger overall. It feels a bit small in the hand.

I'm pretty surprised how well this worked for cat 6 and cat 6a shielded, right on down to single strands of wire. It all worked really well. The bond cost compared to price is a little shocking, after all the blades are all non replaceable, and the unit is all knipex albeit quality plastic. guessing the price is simply because it's pretty unique.

Honestly a top little cable stripper does exactly what it says on the tin. Issue with it lies more with me I often for get to use it and crack on with my snips but having said that for stopping flex in a back box it can’t be beat. Not an everyday tool but for certain jobs I wouldn’t be without

I cant recommend this enough!Im an electrician and usually little gadgets like this are laughed at by fellow sparkies who hate change.I haven't shown this to anywho who hasn't been impressed by it.It makes stripping flex cable a dream.Its well made are feels solid enough to last.

Easy to use, have tried using it for a few 2nd fixes, on 2.5mm, 1mm t+e, 3 core 1mm, and on tv aerial. Still I go back to using CK ratchet strippers. I’m not sure if it’s worth carrying in my pockets if I still need dikes to trim the conductor and a pliers to double it over.

Very well design product but made for Europe.It works great on coax and cat cable but any other cable becomes tricky with guessing how much pressure to apply when scoring the wire sheath or risk cutting into the copper which as happened to me.

So handy, any spark should have one.I'm an auto electrician and normaly deal with larger multi core cable 25x1mm etc right down to 0.5 single and everything in between and this wee tool has made my life so much easier.Highly recommended

On first impression it looks and performs like all Knipex products I have purchased in the past , top quality. With this one which I think is very innovative only time will tell am keeping my fingers crossed and being careful how I use it.

Expensive for what it is (knipex quality) but after a few weeks of use I’m wondering how I managed without it.Nice clean cut especially along the length.Care required when using deep cutter.Recommend watching a couple of YouTube videos

This little tool will amaze you. I purchased it with all the guys at work taking the mick out of me. I was even unsure but then I used it! Man ease of tou and a massive time saver! Still going strong and I use it for stripping everything
