My wife threw out my 20 year old kraft knife so this was it's direct replacement solely based on reviews. The technology has changed over the two decades. This knife was purchased initially for the steel sleeve housing around the blade. Plastic always splits so that was my main priority. You need a steel sheath. I like the sturdyness of this knife. It is also nice and smooth, design wise. The blade length is adjusted by depressing the nearest end of the black slider, so basicly it is a ratcheting system. What a great idea. More interesting is the inner storage space for three spare blades. This is accessed by sliding the end piece nearest your hand in an upwards direction. Nice touch. If you are looking for a good craft knife to cut anything from paper to carpets, this will do the job perfectly.

Didn't get to use it first because the kids' dad took it to cut up boxes. Not impressed. I bought it to cut fabric and the pain in the neck made a lot of my blades blunt and even broke one *deep breath* and left the broken one on there. When I finally got to use it it did cut the fabric well. This was after having to snap off the broken blade and stabbing myself. Lol.Bottom line, it works well, just hide your stuff so the above does not happen.

I bought this as I'm disabled and get a lot of deliveries in cardboard. It's brilliant and cuts through it like butter! Makes short work of boxes and has been a godsend for me! I used this type of knife when working in retail and you do have to be careful as it could cause a nasty injury if not given respect! But I am rheilled with it and the extra blades I purchased means we will be happy together for some years!

I have had, and still have lots of other craft type knives in my stock but this knife is by far, more comfortable in the hand as any of my more well known knives. Using it now, more than any other, unless i need to do more intricate cuts then i have to use my smaller craft knife. But on the whole this is the only knife you need for sturdiness and comfort in multiple cuts situations.

Ok so it's easy to use. I did have to Google how to take the used blades off but once you've done it once then it's easy. I have however used the whole thing before finishing decorating downstairs which is annoying. Good value for money though and very good for wallpaper if that's what you're wanting it for. Just keep snapping off the blades when they're blunt.

Sturdy and sharp to cut through boxes with added safety feature at the bottom of the blade which prevents accidents. The handle of the blade is wide enough that it makes it easy to grip. Price wise, best value for money as also bought the accompanying extra blades for the future and the total cost was less than £7. Highly recommended

Comfortable in the hand. Feels sturdy, and therefore gives confidence in use. I use it with paper and card and a steel rule for guidance. Cuts cleanly and precisely. I'm confident it will give me good service for many years. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

I thought I’d give a better review after I’ve used it for some time. This knife has never touched water but it’s gotten very very rusty over time which I can only assume it’s poor quality. However I think it still does the job, just wished it didn’t get so rusty.

Cutting things down to save space in my wheelie bin/s.Also. Some craft projects.It/they have a safe grip and snap-off blades. These are very good aspects of this product as then there is little chance of having an accident!!!

I've used a number of these types of knives in the past. This holds the blade more firmly than any I have used, whilst still being very easy to adjust the blade forward when needed. The weight and ergonomics are all great.

Well made. Steel slide holding the blade makes sure it stays there and is sturdy. Easy to replace blades. Decent size. Fits well in the hand. Ben using it every day for a few months, has stood the test of time.

The cutter is pretty solid; its pretty easy to take out the blade, and lock it both while in use or stowed back. Compared to the B&Q and Homebase products, this is really good quality and value for money.

If you get a lot of online deliveries a lot and are tired of having to use knives then this will definitely do the trick! I would definitely recommend this as it slides through cardboard easily! :)

I decided to purchase this to cut foam board when making a RC plane. Did the job well. After couple of days it has lost a slight bit of sturdiness but still an excellent cutter to complete the job.

Bought for cutting vinyl for revamping the look of a tired kitchen. Good sturdy metal sheathed knife and very comfortable to hold and use, cannot be beat at its price. Very pleased with purchase
