This is a good quality ballpoint pen in a lovely design.As an other reviewer mentioned it looks great but can feel "slippy" to grip. The action works very well and being a standard G2 refill means you can swap and change for any Parker-compatible one. The ferrule unscrews at the metal nib end and you'll find a Staedtler brand refill included.A negative goes to Amazon - this item came loose in a cardboard mailer envelope. No padding, packaging or even a plastic sleeve. Okay, five pounds for a ballpoint isn't too much but this is meant to be something on a level above a throw-away stick-pen. Luckily it doesn't appear scratched.

I am a pen freak and I love this style. Beautiful design, nice smooth action and very reasonable price for a brand name pen. Uses Parker compatible refills whic are easy to get at a reasonable price. However other colours in the same model seem to be more expensive, else I would have got them as well.

It's a pen I am familiar with. This new one is a bit updated. I can't recollect any pen in this price range that gives pleasure of writing, style, quality and value for money. One of Staedtler's best products, I recommend this to all those who love imported ball pens.
