I was attracted to these by the novelty of the pastel shades (soft pink, apricot and turquoise) as well as the three standard colours (fluorescent yellow, lime green and shocking pink) which are what I would normally use with other stronger colours.I love the idea of the soft shades but be warned - they are not as effective on some kinds of paper. For example they just don't show up on the thick gloss paper of my wall calendar whereas the others do. Similarly if you use them on a recycled off-white paper they will not stand out so well. They are fine on bright white paper.Stabilo are the brand leaders for highlighter pens, and if you need a variety of colours for highlighting documents with a colour-key,

First thought: Wow, not cheap.Second thought: Some interesting colours in here...Stabilo are the sort of go to name for quality highlighters so you pay the price and you get the reliable decent highlighters that last for ages (has anyone ever used one up before losing it?).The extra colours are very unique, probably just a novelty, but a nice touch and makes the boring task of buying highlighter pens just that bit more interesting.They are the standard "bulletproof" stabilo highlighter design that's been going for years so I won't dwell on that, if something works why change it, a valuable lesson can be learned from that.Overall a good pack, not really cheap but you get what you pay for.

Highlighters from the best of breed manufacturer! These six pens are the traditional chisel tips from Stabilo, 3 of which are rich dayglow colours (yellow pink and green) and the other 3 are more subtle pastel shades (aqua, orange and pink). Whichever you use you will find the richness and consistency of colour exactly what you need for highlighting text, be it in books or on documents handed to you.The pastel shades are often more difficult to put your hand on in shops and they are quite remarkable, which is what makes this set particularly remarkable and such good value.What a great value set which will put the right highlighter for every circumstance in your desk drawer.

Interesting! Three of these highlighters are the normal Neon highlighters you would expect, the other three are "Pastel" highlighters which produce a more muted highlight shade. They are both good and which you decide to use would be a personal preference, even the two pinks are quite distinct.I personally might be more inclined to use the pastel shades in a text book as they highlight without really loudly jumping out at you. Where as the neon ones are ideal for notes where you want key points to jump out at you.I've always like Stabilo highlighters - hopefully I can keep these ones for my own use without my children acquiring them.

Just like the original coloured Stabilo highlighters, these are truly the best highlighter pens you can buy. Smooth, long lasting, and with a cleverly designed chisel tip that can go from wide to thin with a simple change of hand position.But what sets these apart are the very pretty, soft and feminine pastel shades that they come in.No more high visibility yellow!!I like these for the more personal things I highlight...journal entries, quotes from books, lists in my diary etc. I keep the dayglo ones for work!Really lovely pens, in really lovely colours. Highly recommended.

Standard bright yellow, green and shocking pink are supplemented by pastel blue, orange and pink. The 3 additional shades do allow greater variation when highlighting subjects by category. I like the option of 3 additional colours however the contrast between them is nowhere near as dramatic as the traditional colours. I will stick to the vibrant shades in future.In terms of quality I tend to stick with Stabilo in part because I always have. They continue to be long lasting, dont smudge and just work! Not sure I would buy them at the £19 apacket though..

Very much the boss. These were the first highlighter brand I ever used as a kid and they are just as good now as they ever where. The close-fitting caps keep the tips moist and flowing for the life of the pen, which always feels like it's a very long one. The shape of the barrel, flat and oval, is ideal for the main job of highlighting text; very comfortable, no cramping. I use highlighters when reading business books as a memory tool - there's a theory that highlighting sentences aides subsequent recall and certainly I do find this process helps.

These are my personal favourite highlighters. They are the ones I buy to use and have done for more years than I can recall.The colours are rich but also transparent enough to allow you to read the words highlighted.In this pack of six highlighters there are three pastel shades which are much lighter so much easier to read the words.So you have a bright pink, bright green and a bright yellow. Also a pale green, orange and pink.I recommend this product based on years of buying and they are the best I have tried.

This selection of highlighters offers the usual good quality of Stabilo's pens, combining three traditional neon highlighter colours with three newer, pastel shades. The pens are supplied in a decent plastic wallet. I really like the pastel colours: these stand out effectively against printed text, without shrieking. They're not inexpensive highlighters, but Stabilo's pens last well and mark smoothly.

I love these highlighters. You get 3 of the standard Illuminous colours (yellow, pink & green) and 3 unusual pastel colours (pale blue, peach & salmons pink). I really like these 3 pastel colours - nice to have something different! My only minor gripe is that the lids don’t have clips so you can attach them to shirt pockets like a pen. But otherwise they are top quality highlighters!

A good, sold purchase from a very reliable manufacturer. Always best to go for well known producers of stationery products. I use them for highlighting specific words in foreign language novels, which makes them a real boon. Of course, the different colours are great when I want to differentiate between points of grammar - verbs, nouns, syntax rules etc.

STABILO Boss Highlighter - Assorted Colours is a great set of highlighters which work well providing excellent vibrant colours which will help your chosen text or notes stand out proud against a plain page. Each colour was as different yet if chosen would blend in well together.Each pen works well, providing good ink flow.Happy to recommend.

These STABILO Boss Highlighter - Assorted Colours (Pack of 6) are not the cheapest highlighters on the market but they are the best! They last much longer than any other highlighter I have tried. This pack contains usual bright neon colours and three subtle pastel shades too. These are great for marking up documents at work and at home.

Stabilo highlighters are one of life's eternals.Perfect width. Even flow. No bleed. Comfortable to hold. Good range of colours. Long lasting. The cap clips solidly to the end when highlliting.There is no good alternative to Stabilo highlighters.The only question is which colours do you prefer?

Great set of highlighter pens from a high quality maker. This six pack contains a different combination of colours from many with some more pastel shades in there.As usual these are well made and produce nice clean and clear highlights.
