Visually, this is a very nicely designed product, but the description is misleading. It is 100% plastic... not 'stoneware' in any way, shape or form! Although very pleasing to look at, the lid fits very snugly into the (PLASTIC) body so there is no way of lining it with a bag. Once I had come to terms with these flaws however, I went on to order two more for my other WCs! They are very neat, they look great and I figured they were only going to be required to accommodate tissues, cotton wool etc at worst, so I could live without a liner. I fear I may just be a sucker for looks over practicality... oh, the swing lid has a very satisfying pivot action too!

This is expensive for a plastic bin! definitely made of stone or heavy material as I has thought!

Plastic. Not well made. I guess design is ok.
