This was my son’s main Christmas toy last year. He still adores it now as much as the moment he opened it, just loves it. The toy itself is pretty simple to use and has some nice functions such as learning phrases you teach it and doing cute little dances. Our son has autism and he just LOVES watching his hatchimal play.The beginning- where the egg begins to hatch- is a lot of fun for the child and also us as parents. Watching it hatch and watching the utter amazement on your child’s face, is just beautiful. I am so glad we bought our hatchimal, money very well spent (and I was dubious before ours arrived)

Thought was a lot of £££ for what you got however the excitement and joy on my daughter's face when it started to peck its beak through the egg and hatching process was worth every penny, now hatched it isn't played with. Gets 4 stars and I won't be the first to say this but if there was a way to get this back in an egg and do that process again hatchimals would make ££££££££ more ?

I brought one for my 4 year old for Christmas and she loves it so much, I thought it was a load of crap at first cause of the bad reviews etc. Decided to get one to see if it’s as bad as people make them out to be. They are wrong my daughter was their all the way though hatching and now she’s even unlocked new games to play. Happy girl = Happy mummy! ????♀️

I was unsure about buying a hatchimal after split reviews but omg my daughter loves it! The hatching process was so lovely.. pecked it's way out of it shell as it should. Since then she has wanted to take it everywhere and teach it everything. She always wanted a pet penguin and this is the next best thing. Happy 5 year old = happy parents

Was an absolute delight for our granddaughter on Christmas Day. A six year old , she loved nurturing it through the early stages til it emerged from the egg and then her natural mothering instincts took over. Exciting for a child initially it doesn't do much once out of the egg that excites. Similar to a Furby.

This was bought as a Christmas present for my daughter, who already owns a hatchimal already but really wanted a second one.She was so excited waiting for it to hatch.This toy does make quite a bit of noise but keeps daughter entertained.Just need to remember to switch it off when not in use.

Was 2017's big xmas gift for my daughter... played with for about 10 mins and then got bored... it's probably languishing in her room somewhere, not seen since January although could've evolved into something else by now and started a new life somewhere else - who knows...

Lovely product, very cute. It grows up as it gets played with, well worth the money if your child will play with it. My daughter was ecstatic when she figured out how to get the hatchimal to repeat what she said. When it breaks out of the egg the pecking is very forceful!

I was hesitant but my 7yo bought it with her Christmas money. It's been well-played with since she got it a week ago. It hatched well, and is very interactive. Better than I thought it would be. She's now enjoying playing the games that you unlock when it's a kid.

This was just what my granddaughter had been wanting for more than a year, and she was thrilled to finally receive it. It did everything expected of it, including (from my point of view) becoming a five minute wonder! But worth it for the pleasure it gave.

My grandchildren loved their early Christmas presents from a loving grandma far far away. Both hatched within 20 minutes of them receiving it and I was able to share the excitement via a Skype call. Thanks Amazon for making it possible.

Really cute. Bought as a gift. Watch it hatch and break out of its shell. Very similar to the old Furby's. Young children will love this. 5 stages of play from nurturing to teaching and role play and interactive games.

We were very dubious about buying this sort of thing for our 6 year old daughter - but gave in to pressure. She absolutely loved it - and I got quite in to the hatching as well!! Delivery, packing etc all great.

The best book I’ve read in a long time, raises you state of consciousness,The more I read the easier it was to comprehend ,Some great ideas a head of its time, the puzzle fits togetherHighly recommended

pretty cute. bought for my daughters for xmas but theyve played with them a few times and now lost in the play room. Definitely not worth the money. They were funny pecking their way out of the shell.
