We use these crabs at work in the toddler room and they see a LOT of use. The children love them, and they've held up brilliantly to two years of almost constant use around the nursery. Some of the letters are starting to fade, but that's understandable. There are upper case letters on one side and lower case on the other, and if you submerge them and squeeze, then let go, they fill up with water which the children love, as they can use them to squirt water at each other.I really recommend these.

Not ideal for water play as the water gets inside and mould forms. Out of curiosity I cut one open and it was full of mould so I threw them all. Best to cover the hole with hot glue before water play. Otherwise we loved them.

These crabs are gorgeous. They're brightly coloured and easy to click onto others to form words/names or just have fun using the joining technique. They're perfect for initial sounds too.

Bought to replace old set that had gone mouldy. Used glue gun to seal holes so that water can't get in and create black mould inside. Loved by children in nursery setting.

My 2 year old loves them!! Nice bright colours, although some letters have faded after a couple of weeks use. Great learning toy though!

Super cute and fun! I used them in my kindergarten classroom during a beach theme. Very multi-purpose!
