Not mentioned in product description is it is supplied with a EU type plug adapter for mains supply. The 3AA batteries are for memory mostly. You will need a shaver type (round pin) adapter to plug in mains. The display is Very bright at night and not dimmable, may be a problem in the bedroom? Had trouble adjusting for UK BST , as the radio signal originates from Germany, the answer is in the manual but easily overlooked. I bought mine at large discount, would think twice about the full ticket.
