I got this converter to use with Sigmas 150-500 lens to try and catch some of the local birds of prey which mostly circle (slowly) just out of reach of my 500 lenses so a little extra reach was asked for.The device is nicely packaged in a zipped nylon container, good fitting end caps and it seats perfectly to lens and camera body, on my lens autofocus does not engage with the new element so it is manual only. ( This may not be the case with a newer lens.Image - I have so far tried it on two days and weather will obviously play a part, on a dull overcast day and on a bright summer's day ( if Ireland ever has such a day :) ) .I have taken approx 24 photos at various distance on both days.The local rabbits and distance features (

I bought from here as it was good for me and to get it quickly also the price too. I bought a lens for it some while back but only just thought I could get it for a nice pairing.I got this today thanks for the fast delivery this is a great teleconverter I was hoping it would be but was amazed at the clarity I have a canon 5Ds I use with it and I am so very happy with it so small you would ardly think it could do what it dose but it is truly great. Oh I have a Sigma 50 to 500 lens and this now makes it up to 100 to 1000 mm great for long distance photography.

Used on my Sigma 60-600mm telephoto lens gives the equivalent of 120-1200mm to play with, which is just nuts!Autofocus is good when used, but I'm all about manual.Pictures show Deadwater Fell from Leaplish (about 6 miles away), and a 747 at 35000 feet (around 16 miles away). Both at 1200mm. Deadwater was on a monopod. 747 was handheld. Both shot on the Easter weekend in 25c heathaze.

I bought the Sigma converter for my Sigma 150-600 lens and was disappointed to find I could only get manual focus. However I have just found that AF can be achieved using Live view, why this works and through the view finder doesn't I have no idea. Otherwise nice piece of kit.

Well at 2x, my 600mm lens was now 1200mm. Yes I loose auto focus and several stops of light, and a tad of sharpness, but fits the need of what I bought it for. Recommended

Boght this at the same time as the Sigma 150-600mm - which when combined give some stunning results.If you want to increase the range of your new lens then this is a must.

Pros: Excellent performance with my Sigma 100-400mm lens.Cons: It is physically impossible to attach any other lenses than the ones designated as compatible from Sigma.

great add - on to my 150mm x 600mm nice sharp crisp image works on auto sometimes but does not always work on auto so i play it safe and use manual all the time

Easy to fit to a sigma 70-200 giving a useful boost without the need to buy a new lens

Got this for my Sigma 150X600mm lens. Doubles it to a 300X1200mm for nice closeups.
