I was expecting a box of 12 Sharpies as pictured but received two plain boxes each containing 6 individually packaged Chinese Sharpies. Massive waste of plastic. I've used these pens before and they work as expected, tend to run out a bit quicker than standard Sharpies as the ink reservoir is smaller to accommodate the retracting mechanism. Great if you're going to be writing on lots of things and don't want the inconvenience of having to use two hands to uncap and recap the pen constantly.

i absolutely love these pensi am always looking for them wherever i travel to but have a difficult time find them, so when i do i stock upthank you amazoni use them for labeling food containers while cooking, the pen fits easily in my arm pen pocket and when i want to label i just click n use, which is much quicker and plus i do not need both hands to labelin a busy kitchen, small details like that make a big difference

I wanted a fine permanent marker for marking items that walk, eg stanley knives, rulers, trays, plastic boxes etc.These pens are nice to handle, and the retractability is a good feature, but the tip is far too broad to use them for marking smaller items. I erroneously thought these would be like the Staedler or Faber-Castell permanent markers which have a much finer tip.

Excellent - I use the pens for drawing & writing on CAA Flying charts - they are perfect for this. With other products I needed to use two hands to remove and hold the cap, meaning I had no hand left to hold the chart. The retracting mechanism means that I can do it all with one hand - and I don’t get ink on my shirt pocket (keeps me out of trouble with the wife)!

I use these markers all day every day in work and have done since I discovered them 2 years ago. They are perfect for marking down sale items in a shop as well as writing on any surface you can think of, including mirrors etc. I get about 3 weeks constant usage out of them and have yet to find an example of a faded mark.

These are great to use - It was being retractable that I went for (ideal for a permanent marker when you want to put it down quickly without hunting for the lid or holding on to it whilst using it). The odour is not as strong as I would have expected, nor does it seem to linger.

These were used for characters in Disneyworld to sign my childrens autograph books. They worked really well, didn't smudge and the retractable feature was really useful for ease and quickness (not having to faff about with a lid). Normal great quality of Sharpies.

Retractable Sharpies. If you use permanent markers on CDs or freezer bags or playing cards and you've never used a Sharpie before you have been missing out ...The retractable ones are particularly handy for card magicians

Reliable pen, to label all packs, plastic and frozen foods permanently. Fine enough to write small, but thick enough to be clear. No fear of drying out through spring-retractable point. Very good quantity for the price.

I got this box of 12 sharpest for just over £9 including delivery. The most expensive same item on Amazon is about £34. I guess that my purchase was a no brainer. Well pleased.

great pens used for years being I'm disabled male cant get then localy will be buying more in future as use them to mark colonostomy bags before cutting
