Being an adult who has suffered from dry skin and Eczema throughout my childhood and life, I've found it hard to find soaps that are good for my skin. The likes of Dove and the most popular soap brands just seem to dry my skin out even though they all advertise they leave skin soft and moisturised - not for everyone.I tend to buy soap items designed for sensitive skin and this doesn't disappoint. I managed to grab it at a great price and when it came, sadly the box was damaged. I contacted the seller who replaced it without worry.The soap is rather large at 300g, much like an Ostrich Egg. It rinses fine and gives a large amount of lather.

This soap has a classic fresh scent that smells amazing. It's moisturises and lathers really well and leaves your skin really soft, moisturised and smooth. The only downsides are that 1) it's really big. It's like a doorstop. It's not easy to hold in the shower because it's so big and so you have to leave it on the shelf and rub your sponge on it. 2). The packaging. The soap is great but the box that it came in was so thin that such a large soap bar easily calls out of the cardboard box. I would have thought that since the soap was relatively expensive, the packaging would be a better quality. I'll probably buy again though as I love the soap.

Surprisingly, this has made a great shaving soap! Even better when used with a proper shaving brush. It gives a great lather for a silky smooth shave. The smell is really nice, and quite subtle. The only thing I don't like about this soap is that I find it very drying for use as an all-over-body soap. But I find that happens with all soaps except Dove (which I don't buy for ethical reasons). I'm not sure why, maybe I just have a sensitive skin type.

Beautiful soap, with a lovely light fragrance, right through the bar. Rather slippery and quickly goes mushy, as others here have said. Perhaps the company could experiment with making the texture firmer? Also they could offer this soap in two sizes, 200 g and 300 g. The larger bar must be difficult for anyone with small hands.I would never use any products for babies, that are not specifically made for them, clearly stated on the package.

As others say, it's a huge bar which should be treated with respect, especially if you have tender feet or ingrowing toenails ;) The water in my area is so 'ard that my neighbours set their dishwashers to level 3 (out of 4) for salt dispensing. Even so, under the shower, I find that this soap lathers very well and smells fine. Excellent.

Lovely rich cream soap, beautiful rich later, small bubbles, smells divine, the size is huge just like it says, having said that this soap doesn't go all mushy when left on the soap dish, my bathroom is on the small side and at the moment smells of this lovely soap, excellent price for good quality soap.

Excellent soap. Must disagree with the reviewer who said it is great for shaving. I couldn't get a lather. Maybe depends on the water. I am in a soft water area which usually is good for lathering. I would deffo buy it again. As a size guide... Imagine washing yourself with a crown green jack.

Soap is superb but unfortunately not packaged well for delivery. Was unable to use as a gift as the rather nice boxes were damaged. Soap was fine so I kept them, however had the expense of finding another gift! The range is very good and ideal for anyone with sensitive skin.

Was a little apprehensive after discovering this company's liquid hand soap had SLS in it which means l can't use what l ordered. This bar of soap however is fine. No problems causing eczema on my hands, good size bar which lasted quite a few weeks. Will re-order

A Fantastic classy soap ! - Ps if there's any Lush Snowcake Soap(the true one now discontinued) refugees out there, this a a great alternative , it's smells very similar to Snowcakes bottom note , but a bit more subtle, and just as creamy and Lush !

Really big soap that doesn’t dry the skin. Doesn’t have any strong smell and no itchy feeling afterward..the size and form of it makes it a bit slippery. I don’t regret buying it but would have prefered a soap that doesn’t smell of glycerine.

I only buy this because I used it in a hotel & loved the scent so much I looked it up! Its a great hand soap & smells fresh & clean! I haven't tried the other products in the range but I really like this soap. Also lasts ages! Lovely

There isn't much to add to my previous review only to say that if you love a bar of soap this is the one. Yes, it's huge to hold but lasts me 4 months with daily use and the smell and lather is wonderful.

I have used this soap a few times now. I like the clean and fresh smelling scent, not overpowering and sickly like some soaps. Nice to gift too. Good quality as always from Scottish Fine Soaps.

Lasts a long time, smells fresh and lovely, and makes my skin feel excellent. I have been using this soap for a long time and it is my favourite soap. I highly recommend this excellent product.
