They are a beautiful pen to write with. Yes, they are more expensive than ordinary ballpoint pens, but for me these are the only pens I write with, because they are so comfortable, the ink flows so smoothly, and there is little-to-no smudging. They are great.

Lovely to write with but slow drying ink. User must be careful not to immediately close book or move card etc for fear of smudging. Otherwise a joy to write with
