Anyone born with eyeballs has seen and been blown away the T-Rex scenes in Jurassic Park. With the obvious exception of Jeff Goldblum's bizarre delivery of his lines, it's the highlight of the film for me. As a kid, I know I'd have killed for a figure like this; the size and weight is perfect, the level of detail and the hinged jaw makes it one of the best dinosaur figures I've ever seen. Admittedly, the decision to make it Incredible Hulk green is a little off-putting as modern opinion puts them somewhere near olive green or grey but that's a minor grumble. As a parent, I know my children love Schleich dinosaurs (we have Carnotaurus and Spinosaurus too) and they provide hours of creative play.

I have never been disappointed by schleich product yet. 2 1/2 year old is fascinated by dinosaurs and there are so many different ones to chose from on the market, some with sounds and lights etc. But as I trust this brand this ended up being the winner. This is my favourite of all the characters I've collected for her, they are all 5* but this one is so realistic, such a good size and incredibly well made. I know it will withstand years of imaginative play, end up in the bath, playing in sand pit and still look as good as new and be able to be passed down as a heirloom, there's not many plastic toys now days that you can do that with. Well with money spent and I highly recommend to anyone thinking about buying it,

Yet one more outstanding model from Shcliech! This Tyranosaurus Rex model is awesome and is incredibly durable. However, the bottom jaw is really quite thick, making the T. Rex look a bit chubby when you look at his face. Of coarse, this could be the huge strong muscles that open and close the jaw (this model does have an opening and closing jaw) so is not to bad. But do not listen to Amazon! This T. Rex is NOT 15cm tall, I have measured it and it is, in fact, 13.7cm tall. Overall though, definitely worth your money.

Schleich models are fantastic, not the cheapest granted but the quality is spot on. The T. rex is solid, attention to detail is amazing and to be honest I’m quite happy to have it sat on the mantelpiece when my little one isn’t playing with it! The moveable mouth is a nice touch and the amount of open ended play you can have with a schleich model is a winner in my book. It’ll be one of the few toys I’d save for the next generation if and when my little one grows out of dinosaurs.

The tyrannosaurus Rex Schleich figure has to be one of our favourites. We bought it for our 6 year old daughter over a year ago who likes to play with it in the bath as well as outside in the sand pit so it spends many hours covered in soap and water and the colours and details are still good. Nothing has snapped off even after some rough play and the quality is great. Such great attention to detail and a larger size Schleich piece makes it worth the money for sure.

I can’t recommend these toys enough, they are easy to clean, extremely good quality and hard wearing, they have a fantastic selection of figures my son loves them, I bought this T. rex ? for Xmas it is pretty big compared to some of the others we have so I think it was great value for money and his mouth opens and closes which is a nice feature will definitely be purchasing more of this range in the future

Great Schleich T-Rex that comes a bit bigger than I expected. The T Rex has a great an bright green colour-scheme. And there is some articulation as the jaw can be opened. So my son can now let the Dino more effectively put a Schleich goat or chicken between his jaws.As usual the Schleich figures are of high quality, and the paint seems to be more durable than with other brands.

I bought this for my 3 year old as she's nuts about dinosaurs and the T-Rex in particular. It's a decent size and seems well made for what it is. Highly detailed she has a lot of fun playing with this and the other dinosaurs and animals in her collection. It's easy to put down and not have it fall over, unlike the Carnotaurus and it's fairly priced.

I really like this dinosaur! It's got a bit if weight to it.. but stands on its own just fine and does not fall over easy! (I nudged it slightly forward and back and it is stable and well balanced). I am very impressed with the colours and detail to attention in how realistic it looks! I actually plan on putting this at the top of a cake !

His jaw fell off which was slightly disappointing given the cost, we managed to glue back on but not sure how long it will last before it needs gluing again?! He is rather heavy and the detail on him is brilliant, the dinosaur looks far superior to any other plastic toy dinosaur we’ve seen and it’s Dino mad in our house!

This is a fabulous dinosaur figure. My son is obsessed with dinosaurs and has spent hours playing with this and some of the other Schleich dinosaurs that I have bought him. They are really good quality and the colouring is fantastic. They would also be really good collectables for an adult with a fascination for them.

Wow, bought this for my friends 30th birthday as he has a few other dinos on his desk. I am now wondering whether I should keep it myself. It looks absolutely well made, very well painted and well worth the price. The jaw even has a hinge so it opens and closes! Might have to buy one for myself sometime

I previously rated this product as disappointed as it was not the same as the one in the picture as the mouth was not open I take that back my two year old son brought it to my attention that actually it opens and closes and is not fixed this is a very good product my son absolutely loves it

Mu 2 and a half year old son loved this dinosaur so much that he would take it to sleep next to him. He plays with it every day and takes it to the nursery with him as well.It’s a very good quality toy and well made.That mouth it’s also opening and closing which he loves.Thank you

What can I say.... Amazing standard of quality and finish. Lovely colours and excellently hand painted. A truly wonderful example of Tyrannosaurus. I would highly recommend as a must buy to any T. rex fan out there. I'm very very happy to have this one in my collection. BRILLIANT!!!!
