Very good figure. I was reticent about buying these Schleich figures as the reviews made them sound really titchy and the photos don't give much sense of scale. Having seen the figures in reality, they don't seem that small, after all. I'd say they're quite close in size to the classic Kenner/Palitoy Star Wars figures of the 70s and 80s (about 3 to 4 inches). Bear in mind these are solid figures with no moving joints. I agree with another reviewer who says these figures are a nice happy medium if you want a well detailed collector's figure without paying for one of the more expensive figures from comic speciality shops. Likewise, they're a fairly reasonable size so you can easily put them in your bookcase/on top of your tv/on your desk etc,without taking up too much space. Detail-wise, I was surprised. Again, I don't think the photos do the figures "justice". You could easily use these figures as a drawing reference. In the case of Green Lantern/Hal Jordan, apart from the costume folds and musculature, the sculpt has little things like markings on the back of his boots and similar outlining/detailing on his shoulder pads (as other people have pointed out, these figures are based on the New 52 versions of the DC heroes, so they all have a lot more detailed costumes than the classic/silver age ones, perhaps not so evident on Batman as he has had multiple movie costumes but quite noticeable on the GL and Flash figures).Downsides? Not many I can think of, the lack of moving joints may put some kids off, although the figures are so well detailed I'm sure a lot of kids would get a blast from just from having them, especially if a fan of a still slightly obscure character like Green Lantern. (What movie?) Also, talking about the Schleich DC/Justice League figures in general, I hope they expand the line if these are a success. Perhaps more Bat family characters like Catwoman.Another thing I've noticed is that some figures like Harley Quinn and Darkseid are only available in twin packs with Batman and Superman respectively, which makes me suspect that they are targeting comic fans/collectors as much as children, that works, but it would be cool if you could also buy them separately. (It also means you are stuck with a set posed figure of Batman or Superman that comes with the set, unless you want to buy one of the additional variants they do of the Superman and Batman figures.) Lastly, it would be nice if you could get multiple poses/variants apart from Superman and Batman. Even Wonder Woman has only one pose available. The poses chosen are appropriate though. GL/Hal brandishing his ring, Flash running, etc. Awesome figures, anyhow

Out of all the range of figures in this range this Hal Jordan's Green Arrow has to be one of the best.It could be is more of a collectable figure that a toy as I feel that the base is far too big to be a decent toy.The details are robust and not the usual paint that comes away with play but rather the green of Green Lantern's suit is green plastic, the insignia in black and so on. All are welded strongly to the figure.This gives it strength and durability.However, it is a good figure for all of that – Green lantern stands proud and confident.In the same series, I have seen 3 others 2 of Superman in two different poses and one of the Flash which is brilliant.All are worth getting.

The classic Green Lantern for most fans - Hal Jordan. Forget the dull movie of a few years back, and read the comics. I was given this figure as a gift a while back, and I love it. What I don't really like are bases on figures, unless the really need them. Hal was separated from his base with a craft knife, and stands pretty well without it. This is a really nice figure; I have been amused at some comments for other figures, complaining about the size - most listings have the size clearly displayed. I'd like to see some more DC heroes - the Alan Scott Green Lantern, for example, or Hawkman, or, my absolute favourite DC character, the mightily weird Deadman.
