2018/01 - Bought a set of N894s for use with a Volvo XC60 with 235/65R17 tyres as an alternative to the Volvo branded chains. Removed 2 of the 6 links according to the instructions and the chains work nicely but are a very tight fit. This might be because the tyres are brand new and hence at their largest. The chains go on but I had to stop after a few metres and push the chain on a bit further before they finally slipped into place. I would imagine if the tyre was a tiny amount smaller the chain would just slide on automatically.Taking the chain off was a bit more difficult because it was such a tight fit. One of them required a fair amount of pulling by hand to persuade it off.I'm guessing that removing one more link would be enough to make the chains fit very nicely indeed.

We drove to the French Alps for a Ski holiday, previously we have flown and hired a car which would have winter tyres and chains. This time we were taking our own Volvo V60, couldn't justify buying winter tyres, then researching regular chains I realised how tricky they are to fit, especially since the volvo v60 has a sporty design so getting your hands under the wheel arch looked quite tricky.Anyway, found these Centrax chain sytem on the web and worked a treat, I did practices putting on a chain before we left England - definetly worth trying it before trying in it in the dark and snowy condiitons.Only negative, would be, you may have to shorten the chain depending on your tyre size (

Delivery was prompt. Not cheap snow chains but good quality and excellent design. It your looking to get snow chains on and off quickly look no further.
