I’ve been wanting this for a while, always borrowing friends’ RØDE mics, but now I’ve got my own. Amazing for loud sources like live music, which is what I primarily use it for, as well as interviews and pretty much anything.Makes it very easy to control audio levels in-camera without distortion.Highly recommended purchase if you’re into video on a DSLR.

I wasn't too sure if this would be noticeably better than the built-in mic on my camcorder: and after the very first test, I was convinced! The difference is like night-and-day!
