This was a present for my 10 yr old and she really enjoyed doing it over Christmas. (Once on the big day and again on Boxing Day.) There are a few trickier bits like the hinged pieces at corners which need folding before use and the flat dividers between sections and under the base were awkward to fit firmly to the puzzle. However all-in-all she really enjoys completing it and packs it away carefully so as not to lose pieces! It is good to have a little difficulty included to make it a challenge to complete it.I would recommend this to anyone and will be buying (or adding to wish lists) other puzzles in the same series.6 months later this puzzle is still coming out of the cupboard and being redone - I had wondered if it would be the sort of thing that only got made once, but it isn't!

This is a very nice gift and fun to build, though once you've finished admiring it, you're left wondering quite what to do with it! As you can probably see, the tower is in three sections, lower, middle and top, with plastic platforms in between. We found the upper plastic platform simply would not seat itself properly on the middle section and this made the tower very wobbly and unstable. After a great deal of investigation we eventually found the trouble lay in the hinged, corner pieces of the jigsaw. It's really important to make sure these are firmly and fully bent into a 90-degree corner - quite hard to do for tiny fingers - otherwise the sides of the tower imperceptibly bulge out and the platform won't fit over them properly.I hope this helps someone.

This 216 piece plastic puzzle is pretty good fun to put together. The pieces are labelled on the back so, if you wish, you can put them together in order, number one has an arrow pointing to where to attach number 2 and so on. You could also, of course assemble it the traditional way, but this would probably be quite hard as the shading is all pretty similar. The puzzle is well made, and has a glossy finish and looks nice on display once made. There are a few plastic solid sections which separate the different floors - these fit well but the feet are prone to coming apart from the base. In general the pieces are accurately numbered, although we found a few which were unclear as the number was on the hinge. As a first 3D puzzle I would recommend

It was bought for my ten year old boy.He was enjoying constructing the puzzle and was done with the base of the puzzle. He then started constructing the mid part of the tower and found that the piece numbered 78 was broken. He was disheartened. Thanks to Amazon, I am sending back this puzzle and my son would be getting a replacement of the same 3D puzzle.Giving it a 5 star because my son really enjoyed constructing the base of the tower. Also, a 5 star because I am getting the replacement.

I bought this for my 13yr old daughter as she loves puzzels and jigsaws and has wanted one for a long time. It came quickly and well packaged. She got to building it and had the whole thing built in 3-4 hours and only needed a little help with some pieces but she loves it and wants to get more and build more. The only issue we had is it didnt come with instructions and that it has come apart which was a little tricky to fix but other then that is a a comprehensive puzzle

This was bought as a gift for my daughters' 10th birthday. She did not move for the whole time she was making this until it was finished, and she was delighted with the end result. Pieces are tough and made of plastic so sturdy enough for the build. We are definitely going to be buying her more from the set as they are wonderful models once completed. The ones with the lights cost a little more but not by much, so worth the extra couple of quid to add that final flair.

3D puzzle of Eiffel tower bought for relative, was built in less than an evening, great that it lights up from a colour change light box beneath. Not strong enough though to be constantly moved around without risk of puzzle falling apart although stable enough in one place. Great night light with changing colours.Would be good if numbers could be a little bigger on back of piece's to aid people with sight impairments. Will look to purchase more in the range.

Got this for my niece (7) who enjoyed doing the puzzle. The pieces are numbered with arrows to show which way the pieces fit which are very helpful. The pieces fit together well although some are a bit fiddly, there are also plastic parts which my niece needed help with (for the floors of the tower) and the base was difficult to get the puzzle into. Once finished it looks good and stays together well and my niece has it proudly on display. A fun puzzle.

I bought this for my 7 year old. This is the first 3D jigsaw we have attempted and now we are looking for others in this series! My 7 year old needed a little support, but together with his older brother, managed to build it easily. The most difficult part is finding the right numbers on the back as there are so many pieces.Completed model looks great and is fairly strong. Would definitely recommend!

Kept my 11 year old quiet for an evening, he did it all himself and was very proud of it once he'd finished. The only issue was that the battery pack for the lighting is flimsy and it wouldn't work properly, my husband applied his trusty 'if in doubt, give it a clout' policy and it worked properly after a quick bang... Probably wouldn't recommend this method though.

This was bought for our 8 year old daughter. She built it by herself, with a little adult help along the way. As with 3D puzzles, you have to follow the little numbered arrows to make sure each piece connects to the right slot. Once it is built, you put the batteries in it and it lights up. It is a really good quality puzzle and looks fab when it lights up.

I really like this puzzle because its fun to figure out. Its quite fiddly but I enjoyed that challenge! I'm 6years old and I was able to do this completely on my own once my mum showed me how it worked. I only needed a little help finding the numbers. If I could.. I'd give it 10 golden stars! This was my first 3D jigsaw and I really enjoyed it! ?

We started off with Big Ben and loved doing it so much we got the Eiffel Tower. Can be a little tricky at times but good fun for all the family. Once done its very delicate to move as some of the pieces tend to come off, but easy to slot back in. Delivery was very speedy and price good as I have seen these in garden centres for considerably more.

Fiddly to put together, too complicated for my 7 year old however he enjoyed putting the jigsaw pieces in numerical order to help the construction. The end result is impressive though I've dropped a star rating because the light switch is located underneath the base which is awkward to switch on and off without the top of the tower falling off.
