Thanks to being on sale in the catalogue pages of a well known chain store, the Ravensburger Big Ben and Eiffel Tower 3D jigsaw models are almost certainly a great deal more well known than the other landmark models in the series. Unlike those models, with their mix of flat pieces and bendy hinged pieces, this model has a couple of new components in addition - pieces that have tabs and slots in them. It's therefore a more complicated model than the other two (actually of any of the series) and requires a little more time and a little more skill to put together successfully.I feel the need to comment on the Amazon.com reviews that appeared on this page because I disagree with a number of issues there.

My nine year old spent a couple of hours putting this together and is absolutely delighted with the finished result and the lighting effects. The corner pieces require bending to form the 90 degree and held their shape well once bent. There are clear plastic inserts that hold the structure firmly and channel the coloured light Upto the top of the structure.I can only assume that the folks that gave this jigsaw low ratings do not like a challenge. Which, after all, is the purpose of a jigsaw.

Bought as a family Christmas present, something to do over the holiday. Fitted the bill perfectly! Two teenagers, myself & hubby with Grandma all enjoying it. Challenging, but not too difficult to be put off. Suitable for all ages as numbers are on each piece if required. Will probably be getting another one in the series!!

I bought this puzzle as a Christmas Gift for a Jigsaw enthusiast. The puzzle took a solid six hours to complete so it was well worth the money. The quality of the pieces are great. It looks that good once completed we now use it as an ornament.

Present for my granddaughter, a jigsaw fan. She really enjoyed doing it and it looks good, but she did it in an afternoon, as opposed to what it says in the description.

This is a joint present for 2 other grandchildren who live further away. They like a challenge and I have previously had a similar puzzle so decided to get one for them

I bought this puzzle as a gift to my mother-in-law and it was great. It's really easy to make (about three or four hours) and once it's built, it is consistent.

I searched the internet for this item as my grandson had recently visited the Empire State Building and found this to be the best value for money.

The only reason i have given it a 4 is because the base and the building are not a good match, the building does not fit at all. it is very loose

was exactly as described was delivered when stated and my grandson was thrilled with it very easy to assemble and quite sturdy

A brill puzzle for the older child/ adult. Needs a good deal of time and patience but looks great when finally finished.
