I have owned this Qnap 469 Pro for a week now and I am absolutely loving the new QTS 4.0 user interface and the features it has to offer. I currently have it set up with 4 3TB Western Digital Red NAS Hard drives which run cool and give great performance. I also decided to add Kingston 2GB of RAM which is easily installed and will give me extra performance and boosted the total to 3GB. Although the price along with the 4 3TB hard drives is a lot I feel that it is worth it considering the expandability and features that are on offer from Qnap. There are also some great iPhone apps to further add to the featuresUpon researching different NAS Boxes the other competitor was the Synology 412+ box which also had some great features,

Having suffered badly from Buffalo's dire offerings this kit is a breath of fresh air.Its superbly stable. Very capable and feature rich backed up with regular firmware updates from the OEM.I wish all electronic products were of this calibre. It definately sets the standard.

You get what you have paid for...The QNAP TS-469 Pro is one of the fastest NAS servers on the market.Low power consumption, very quiet, very fast and of course very reliable.Good Support and great communityIt's my second Qnap Nas and it will be not my last.

Really impressed with my qnap. Glad I went for the older higer end model and upgraded the firmware to 4.0 lighting quick, great plug-ins. The only down side us the cost.

Easy to setup, brilliant across all platforms, can take an age to down load big files. would recommend this server
