I have no previous experience of this scent so I cannot comment on how it compares historically to itself but I came across it because I was looking for an old fashioned men's fragrance. Yeah you can call me old fashioned too if you like but I have been disappointed in the trend in recent years for aftershaves and male scents to be on the sweet side and far too floral. No amount of squirting tester bottles on my wrist or little card strips will persuade me to pay some of the frankly extortionate prices they charge for many of those designer labels. However, although I obviously had no way of testing this first, I have been extremely pleased with this purchase so far.

I have not recieved mine yet, can't wait! could only buy this abroad and have not had any for a decade. my first bottle bought as a present when i was a teenager and now i am in my fifties is still a firm favourite. its hard to describe the smell but its ageless and has different fragrances come and go this has lasted. The price seems good too when compared what i pay for my either Joop or Cool water both are good but this will always remain my favourite and will become a regular purchase from Amazon. i was told 10 years ago it was to be discontinued so i bought a shed load back from Fuertaventura but now i think this was a sales pitch!

i like this stuff. i bought it based on the feedback here already and am very happy with it. The smell lasts for a long time and conjures memories of old fashioned barbershops and well groomed men from the past with a delightfully modern feel also. i happily splash it on. to me the more the merrier as it is not one of those smells that overpowers, it just smells good and makes me feel happy. just the right stuff for now as Summer begins and warm breezes mean light clothing and memories of holidays abroad.

This Eau de Cologne is polarising as good aromas are. It's not juvenile nor playful, but blunt, sharp and alcoholic as wormwood. The wooden cap tells you everything about it: woody feel with some mediterranean notes. One of the very best things one can bring from Spain, now even cheaper on Amazon. It's available on two forms: splash (200ml or 100ml) and spray (100ml). Splash is cheaper in comparison, but beware: you'll want to use more than you need.

I've liked this fragrance for more than 30 years, when I first bought some whilst on holiday in Spain. It brings back happy memories of fun and laughter and sangria, whenever I wear it. It's a hidden gem and has a 'mature' fragrance that's not 'tweedy' or 'flowery' like many of today's modern fragrences, and is quite distinctive, being robust on the 'smokey' side of light inscence.

Having searched or years in various shops for this product, I finally found that I could buy it from Amazon. It is very aromatic and long lasting. It used to be available in the UK but now seems to be only obtainable from Spain. It is a bit expensive combined with the shipping fee, but made a great present for my hubby for Christmas. Good old Amazon steps in and helps again!

I first got a bottle of this in 1972 and its been a firm favorite since. An aromatic woody fragrance its quite long lasting. It came in a plain box, no cellophane. It is genuine without a shred of a doubt. Interestingly I saw some in a shop in Lisbon in December and god only knows what was in the bottle. It was definitely counterfeit. Not this one. Its as I remember it.

This cologne seems to have gone full circle in turns of taste and popularity. I remember using it many years ago when it was one of my favourites. Finding it again has been a joy (and at such a great price). Ironically, it now feels very up to date. With its fresh, citrus and woody smells, it is reminiscent of several expensive, and contemporary, Eau de Colognes.

Simply put, it was a successful blind buy. The fragrance truly is a little more old fashioned, but for me that just maintains a certain degree of class. At this price, it's no less than theft. The concentration also makes you feel as if people will be actually able to smell it, which is more than can be said for many of the less cheap smelling fragrances.

WOW! SO GLAD I SENT FOR THIS AS MY FRIEND AND I USED TO BUY IT WHEN WE WENT ON HOLIDAY TO SPAIN AND BOY! DID IT BRING BACK SOME FANTASTIC MEMORIES. IT IS SO FRESH AND EXITING EVEN THOUGH IT HAS BEEN AROUND FOR MANY YEARS. FRIENDS AND FAMILY ALL COMMENTED ON IT AND THOUGHT IT SMELLED REALY NICE. GREAT PURCHASE FOR THE PRICE.

I normally stock up on this Eau de Cologne when holidaying in Spain so the availability of ordering on line was a real bonus. I love the stuff and the smell brings back so many different memories. I will certainly be ordering more its a good price for a genuine product. I have yet to find it on sale in any shop in the UK.

i love this stuff ever since buying it in Ibizia back in the 1990'swas just scrolling deals one day came across italcohol content is half that of the original 90's bottlebut lasts well and is a large 200ml .,. regift it, if bought for yourself and not keenpaco rebane-esque

. I have been used AGUA BRAVA del Puig for many years, from 100 ml. concentrated fragrances to this giant 500 ml. Eau de Cologne for a good and fresh splash after the shower or bath, and I am very satisfied with this Spanish product.

My husband used to wear this as a teenager and it brought back many memories for him,he is now in his late 50's!, it has a lovely smell that lasts for quite a while,use it with the Aftershave Splash for an all day sexy smell!

I first discovered this 30 years ago in Spain, I used to visit every year and buy some but has become harder to source. I love it and the women always comment on how much it suits me. Has a more masculine musky fragrance.
