This worked out great, and made a fantastic cake. Would be even cuter if the topping section was slightly taller, but I did that with piped icing.I greased it thoroughly with vegetable oil and baked the sections separately in the oven (...they take vastly different times and will slow each other down).I used 2 Devils Food Cake packet mixes for the batter, and filled the moulds to 90% capacity because the cake batter I chose is quite dense. Better to overfill and then trim away the excess after cooking than have a short stumpy cake because it didn't rise enough.Another tip: They take quite a long time to cook, so set the oven to 180 degrees and do them one at a time in the centre of the oven (on a baking tray)

Amazing product! Came in small handy box for storage. Came on time and in perfect condition! Doesn't just include a top and bottom, also has a middle kind of peice! I think it's for cooling. There are kind of instructions included but you don't really need those. I follow MyCupcakeAddiction on youtube and that's where you can find a million cute and unique uses for this! From giant cupcakes, to hot air balloons, princess castles and pigs in mud! It's amazing!! Have already used it a few times and it works perfectly everytime! Especially once you work out exactly ow much you need to put in. However, any excess that you cut off could always be used for cake pops anyways!Great proffessional product,

God damn it's the perfect size. I was excited to make my nephew's birthday cake with it. Who says men can't bake?! Well, turns out I underestimated my recipe. I've been baking for about 6 months, fudge making, sweet making. I've mailed my fudge but my cakes are basic. Saw this and thought "challenge accepted"MAKE SURE YOU GET THE RIGHT RECIPE.See PicturesPicture 1 - colours came out awesome, the cake not so much. My recipe must've been wrong. If anyone cares to share one I'll appreciate you.Picture 2 - hide it with buttercream and it's will be okay.Picture 3 - turns out my dad is incapable of holding a cake.Picture 4 - TADA!

Worked even better than I imagined! Bought this to make a giant chocolate cupcake pinata for a friend's birthday and it came out brilliantly. The lines were flawless and it came out of the mould very easily without breaking. Easy to wash and dry. Only comment is that the top half is much thinner silicone than the bottom half for some reason, which made it slightly harder to handle. It still stood fine by itself and the result was still excellent but I do wonder how a cake would hold up in the same mould. So glad I bought this and had a go with the chocolate, my friend was delighted!

I had only just begun using silicon moulds when I came across this. My daughter wanted it to make a birthday cake and what a cake it turned out to be. To fill this mould, you need approximately two to three times your usual amount of cake mix and the cake does need a long time to bake but it is well worth it when it is turned out. The only negative I found was that chocolate cake stuck to the mould but this may just have been the particular recipe used. This mould will make a spectacular cake for any child's birthday - and any adult. Turn it out a decorate it any way you want.

Love this mould, it's my new favourite kitchen toy! I had a trial run at first to figure out how best to fill each of the parts: levels etc but on the second attempt I made a fantastic cupcake! (to be honest the first attempt wasn't bad really). I love how you can just roll back the bottom part of the mould for it to pop free. Don't forget to spray before putting your mixture in (I just used fry light cooking spray) and releasing from the mould shouldn't be a problem - definitely recommend! :-)

Arrived promptly. I thought it would be slightly bigger but never the less I'm still impressed with it. I greased it all with butter and my cakes just popped out, no sticking at all. It does take a 6 egg recipe but there is a little bit left over so I made some small cupcakes too.Does take slightly longer to cook in the oven than my normal cake tin but this is due to the cupcake shape been so deep.Cant wait to piece it together later and show it off.

Glad I brought this and have already made many cakes. You can get so creative with this cake mould and make so many different cakes and the potential is endless,so if your wanting to make a cake for someone's birthday then I highly recommend this fabulous cake mould. Cakes just pop out and stay intact,and the mould itself is very strong and easy to wash and store. You won't regret buying it.

Arrived quickly and came with instructions. I used 2 cake mixes in total and that was enough. The little insert was a nice addition so you can get a dip to fill with stuff, just don't add too much cake mix or it won't be a deep dip. After use it was very easy to clean with soap and water, managed to get burnt bits off fine. Great sturdy mould and I can't wait to use it again.

I bought this expecting to only get a couple of uses out of it as it was relatively cheap. Not a cheap product at all and got great results. I loved the filling insert and again was impressed at how easy it was to use. The instructions were good too. I used marg and a light dusting of flour instead of a cake release spray...worked a treat with my cakes coming out perfect.

This item was just what I needed at the time. Once I had found the optimum recipe, I then had to find the right balance of coating in order to get the cake from the mould. I would have liked a larger mould for the job but this worked fine.Although this is silicon it can be very difficult to get the cake from the mould cleanly and maintain a professional look.

Purchased this for making a giant cupcake for a cake smash. It was really easy to use, and made the perfect shaped cupcake. Very easy to remove cake from the base when combined with a cake release spray. The base and the top are not attached to each other which is ideal as the top and bottom are likely to cook at different speeds

This is an amazing product and the price is brilliant.I've used it twice since I received it a week ago.A friend recommended this and I'm so glad she did. My children love it too.With help from YouTube tutorials and some inspiration from Instagram, I know I will use this alot more.I highly recommend this product.

Fab! No more boring birthday cakes for us! I am a terrible baker so I really worried about whether we would just end up with a part burnt part raw cake but it looked and tasted fab. Easy to use and my kids loved it. Arrived quickly, minimal packaging and it's easy to clean. My sisters are both buying their own now!

This is the first time I have made a cupcake cake,was super easy to use.I made a 7 egg cake mixture cooked for about an hour smaller one slightly less covered with foil for the last 15 minutes as top was browning but cake needed more cooking time worked perfectly.My Daughter will be thrilled
