first of all, the colours of these highlighters are fantastic. they are really lovely soft pastel colours, which are perfect for many different things. in general, as highlighters, they are really great, however, the "erasable" part is not so great. it depends on what type of paper you're using, but the erasable part varies. i used this on my normal everyday lined paper, and it erased perfectly, however when i went to highlight in a book (from school), when i tried to erase, it wouldn't erase and it actually ended up smudging the words, and now the words that i highlighted are unreadable. it was a real shame when i discovered this. not to mention, the whole marketing for the pens were that you could highlight in course books from school and then erase them when you have to return it, so that irritated me slightly. i haven't tried it in a different book yet in fear that it will happened again, but just be aware. i would still recommend these highlighters, but just as highlighters. if you want to buy them for the sole purpose of being erasable, all i will say is: be aware that it doesn't work the same for ALL different types of paper. despite the disappointment with the erasable part, overall, i'm very fond of these highlighters and will continue to use them, but only as highlighters, not erasable highlighters.

When I saw these pens I was so amazed, finally I can use highlighters without my eyes hurting! These make revising so much easier on my eyes and can keep me focused without wanting to look away from the most important parts that are covered in neon yellow. And in addition they are erasable!!They are also very aesthetically pleasing as the pens are lovely pastel colours, and the ink is very pretty and they all go together well, perfect for artists and anyone who loves pens. They work best on white paper, and on grey paper some colours are better than others. The blue, mint, orange and pink look really nice, the violet colour is more muddy and has more grey tones than purple, which makes it duller. Its still very pretty! When I first got these, they felt really dry when using them, but that past after a few uses, and the ink flows really well. It takes a few seconds for the ink to dry and are easily erasable.I added some photos to show the different swatches of colours on white, cream and grey paper.

Decent quality. Nib is not quite wide enough to highlight an 0.5mm row. The purple is a fairly mild colour - like a mildliner (which I originally thought these were. I have not actually tried other mildliner but this seems to be similar to what I've seen online). The yellow is neon, like stabilo boss highlighters. The others (blue green and pink) are somewhere in between. Nice colours. They do not 'bleed' on paper, neither do they ghost at all (show through on the other side of the page). They seem decent quality. As for the erasable aspect, I wouldn't really recommend them for this use (I have to admit, this is something that persuaded me to buy it).It does rub out but it takes some work and can rub out some other ink or other printed black.I use them for bullet journalling - for use in habit trackers and just to make the page more colourful. As I said, not quite qide enough for a row/column but seem decent quality and work OK with biro. Not sure If it causes other ink to smear.

These highlighters (or should I say mild lighters!?!) are fantastic for revision! They clearly make my notes stand out but don't hurt my eyes or obscure the text like fluorescent highlighters do. The colours are very pretty pastel shades and stand out on different coloured papers as well. The eraser side works well usually and is extremely useful when making revision summaries or highlighting textbooks (especially text books that aren't yours!) the ink isn't wet like cheaper brands of highlighters and doesn't smear the text underneath them which means they can be used with fountain pens or pens notorious for smudging. These pens are far superior to conventional highlighters and the compact pen like design makes them very comfortable to use

I wanted to use this for when I highlight in my books but would like not to permanently imprint ink on the pages. So I thought I would give these a go and they do work. However older books left a slight mark of the colour and smudged the text a little when rubbing out, but I guess older books aren't as well printed and the paper as well protected. Nonetheless effectiveness of the product is fine, the issue is they don't last long. I used it for a week, highlighted maybe 50 - 80 max pages, (not whole pages of course but snippets of text), and I feel it didn't really go as far as I would have hoped.

These are great if, like me, you like your work neat and tidy. The erasing function works well, the only way I can tell text has been previously highlighted are the faint pressure marks from rubbing off the highlighting. I've used knock off brands before which just don't work well and leave a smeary brown smudge after you rub them. Pilot Frixion pens won't do that. The only downsides to these highlighters are that they do use up quite quickly and you're paying a premium for the erasing function. For me it's well worth the premium to make my notes neat and clear.

These are great highlighter. Normal colours are too dark and harsh most of the time and a different brand of pastel ones left a lot of ink deposit when I was highlighting anything as in I would be highlighting and then there would be a giant splodge at the end. These are on the more expensive side but I will be using (and have been) these constantly. They come in really nice colours and I'm surprised how often I use the yellow shade as I assumed I probably wouldn't. All the colours match well together and they came on time.

I love Frixion products. I was wary after reading a couple of bad reviews but I have had no problem at all both with these highlighters and their erasable pens. I have to say that I didn't realise that you rubbed them out with the plastic thing at the bottom of the pen and originally used a rubber!!!! This didn't work :):):) Anyway, used properly they are super. I use them to highlight my music. I was looking for a cheaper alternative to highlighter tape and I believe that I have found it.

They do exactly what they're advertised to do. Before I was using BIC highlighters and was frustrated because when you make a mistake with a highlighter, it's hard to take back. However, these are perfect for that purpose. The only reason I'm dropping 1 star is because the colours aren't as "vibrant" as my old BIC highlighters. Vibrant highlighters are pretty crucial when it comes to revision but overall I'm happy with the purchase.

These highlighters really do rub out using the frixion eraser on the 'tail' of the pen. They do leave a stain on heat sensitive paper (some receipts) when rubbing out. They also will stretch thin paper (e.g. bible paper), so not really for rubbing out, but the colour does not leak through to the other side of the page (other than the page being so thin that you can half see the print on the other side anyway).

I ordered these highlighters for my 5 year old son. The colours are vibrant and it is very easy to rub out any unwanted marks from your page. The best thing about these highlighters is that the ink can easily be washed out of my sons white school shirts leaving absolutely no stains. The ink in these highlights doesn't last as long as other brands I have bought but that is the only negative I can think of.

These pens are a bit of a life saver. I'm always a bit skeptical when I highlight my note, thinking I'll mark the wrong thing. These are great, if I do mark the wrong thing I can easily rub it out. They're also hand for using in my textbooks. I hate writing in books but as my lecturer told me "get over it" and these are a win win.I definitely recommend them. I'd be lost without them.

Highlighters are light yet not too light to not see them on the paper. They rub out clean although there may be some small stains on papers that are glossy. The green is really nice!I bought this to use as a substitute while waiting for my Spotliter Highlighter in Cream Yellow from Japan, the yellow is a much yellowy shade compared to that of the spotliter's

7.9.2018

Pros:Pink, green and orange are pretty and stand out as much as you'd want them toErase well as far as I can tellCons:Purple is pretty washed out in a way I don't really consider pastel and isn't always visable on a pageYellow isn't always visable on a pageCan make writing underneath a bit grey if you're using them over a frixon pen

26.10.2014

The colours are bolder than other highlighters and if you try to rub them out before the ink has dried they leave a stain. You wouldn't be able to get away with pretending you hadn't been highlighting a text book to resell as unused or whatever but you can certainly tidy up a mess. Very useful and very reasonably priced right now.4 Stars
