Lovely pen, looks very classy, writes really smoothly although in reality the Stresemann stripes are quite a bit darker than in the various photos. It's not a large pen so if you have above-average sized hands you may want to use it posted - in which case it does have a nice balance to it. I have to say, the box it came in was a bit on the basic side for a £200+ pen - just a small cardboard effort no larger than the pen itself with no padding or paperwork. Just as well it wasn't a gift as it would have looked really stingy... Don't know whether that was down to the vendor or Pelikan, although I have had infinitely classier boxes with Pelikan pens before.
