Big hit in our house over Christmas! 3 - Loved this game as a child and bought it as a gift for my nine year old for Christmas. He has really enjoyed playing it too. The game has been slightly updated since I played but was quick to learn, not too complicated for the kids to understand and the family have had several games already. I like it as you can opt how long your game will take ranging from 40 minutes so holds the kids attention and doesn't become monotonous and can be completed in an evening unlike Monopoly. This is a great family game and worth the money.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my sister which, as expected, led to us playing it on Christmas day. As with any new board game there are many rules you must grasp, but it is quite quick to pick up. Once you get going it is an extremely enjoyable game which puts a friendly rivalry between whoever's playing. My only gripe as the person in charge of the loans is that nobody wants to risk taking out one, making me very useless... But that's just them being sensible about (pretend) money

I remember loving this game as a child and the new version isn't disappointing. It's simple but fun and competitive - recommended age 8+ but I would say it would be fine for younger children too. You can buy and sell things, get bargains on 'epay', play the lottery and get birthday presents. Unfortunately you also have to pay the bills! You can make the game long or short depending on how many "months" you agree to play at the start. A 'must' for the family games cupboard.

A previous version of this game nearly tore my family apart in 2013.This version has allowed reparations to be made.Included in this game: a fun and often funny board game that is similar to monopoly except this game ends fairly quickly and the goal is not to bankrupt your competitorsNot included: a ridiculously competitive and argumentative family. You provide that yourself.Best for younger players - 7-14 I'd say

I bought this game mainly for playing with my grandchildren as a simple easy game to play, but would also teach them mathematics and the value of money, albeit play money. The fact that the games last around one hour means that concentration does wane the way it does with Monopoly and the kids seem to love it, which is what it was all about in buying it.A good enjoyable game.

Monopoly will always be my number one but this is a fantastic family game and you are guaranteed to have fun! With a similar concept to monopoly and trying to make the most money whilst paying the bills and making deals, this game will give the young ones some insight into daily life and give the adults some entertainment either playing or watching too. Great game!

This is our 3rd payday. This is closest to the original. Updated for internet sales and spam in the post. Money is small type like in monopoly. Original has the bigger money. Properties just like the original. Game board slightly different and not as many chances to sell the properties with your post like in the first. Still a well loved game in our house.

It is really fun to play for the whole family. I was worried that my 9-year old would find the operations with money difficult but it is amazing how quickly they learn how money works. Also, I use it with my students for mental maths practice, problems solving, sequencing and simple percentage calculations. It can be a short or a long game - you decide!

I was given this game as a child and had so much fun playing it. I bought this for my 12 year old and he now loves it too! We have had many evenings of fun, laughing and playing this game. The best thing I love about this game is you can decide how long you want it to last by deciding on either a few or a lot of months.

I purchased this for my son for Christmas but it sat in the cupboard till today. Climbing the walls during lockdown, we thought it would be a good idea to play and we wasn’t wrong. Great fun, simple to follow instructions and teaches kids about the real world of finances. My son is 9, my daughter 13 and we all enjoyed.

This game is really easy to play. The kids enjoy it (7 & 9). Great family game. We do as suggested and play 3 'months', which takes about 30 mins - perfect length. The kids take it turns to be the banker and this helps them with their maths, and the game teaches them about the concept of salary and expenditure.

Game for my husbands birthday. He used to play when he was younger. We had great fun playing it, had our 7yr old son working out what he could afford after his bills. He enjoyed it just as much as his dad and does ask to play again. It was well packaged came quickly and made my husband smile upon opening it.

Loved this game when I was a kid and I still enjoy playing it now 20 years later lol. Recently played it the other day with my younger sister (currently in Covid-19 quarantine) and she enjoyed playing it as much as I used to.Highly reccomend if you're looking for a great game to play with your family.

This is an updated version of the old game we played with our children in the 80'same and we bought it for our grandchildren who love monopoly but love this game even more. We also love it as you can play for as long or short time whichever convenient. Unlike monopoly that can go on for hours.

Bought this to help the kids learn about money. Was worried it would be too difficult for my 5 year old but he's fine. Kids (8 and 5) love playing this, so do the big kids - lol. Great fun for the whole family and doesn't take as long as monopoly so less stressful to play with little ones.
