A nice addition to our Christmas board games and something we don’t have in the collection. Christmas themed trivia questions that having flicked through some of the cards I thought would be a bit challenging for my almost 11 year old (but it’s actually amazing what they know that you think they couldn’t possibly know)! The contents include a sturdy 3D type Christmas tree (the “playing board”) that comes flat packed and easily assembled by popping out the pieces: snowmen, gingerbread men, baubles, bells and so on and popping out the holes in the tree and then putting it together. The 32 decorations are the playing pieces and each team gets 16 pieces (any random pieces)and the deck of cards turned facing questions side down. There are 55 cards in total and are divided into 3 categories: picture cards that relate to picture on the front, pot luck cards which are random questions and theme cards. Each team takes turns answering a question card and if correct adds a piece to the tree and then game passes to the next team. If a question is answered incorrectly the other team gets a chance to answer and if correct gets a bonus piece. The goal of the game is to hang all your pieces on the tree, starting from the bottom, and race to get to the top of the tree to hang the star and be the winning team.Suggested age is 12+ and I would say this is probably quite accurate but we did play with one adult and one 10-year-old per team and we got by (in saying that there were questions I couldn’t answer either and I thought my Christmas knowledge was quite sound) – a fun game and look forward to playing again over Christmas.

I think this is a great board game but I found that many questions repeated themselves in some form or other. For example a picture card may show the Kelloggs K, and 4 questions regarding Kelloggs will be asked.Another card may show a close up of cornflakes and we're asked practically the same 4 questions. This did not occur too often but enough, that we all passed remark on it.Otherwise this game is excellent, especially if you are a bit of a brand junkie. It does rotate around British branding from my memory, so nothing to obscure or foreign etc.It covers a huge variety of sectors, from butter to cars, sports teams to charities.A game can be won in twenty minutes as you can progress quite quickly via colour coded questions and colour coded board places. The concept is very good and easy to understand. However I would say for ages 14 and above. It is a bit dear but in respect of other board games like Pointless and The Chase, these prices must be the norm now.

A really good family game and one that is a little bit different. There is a standard fold-out playing board and some cone-shaped playing pieces and a box of question cards in a tray. So far, similar to most games. This can be played between 2-4 individual players or - and this is much better - with two teams. This way you can mix up the ages and, since the game depends on knowledge of brands and products ranging from teabags to JCB's (not necessarily contemporary either), it helps to have both Granny and Grandpa in the team alongside the youngest members who will know the TV characters. The instructions are not well written and rather confusing - which is why I haven't awarded the game 5 stars- but once you have all agreed how to interpret they way it works it is good fun and it's surprising who knows what! A good awareness game too - you will be amazed at how many logos etc you thought you would recognise but don't....

I bought this as a family Christmas present, in a last ditch attempt to get teenage children to play a 'proper game' - incredibly, it worked and we all had a good laugh with it several times over the holiday. The questions are very random, wo some being very easy and others extremely difficult. What made us laugh so much was how we found that our minds played tricks on us and we couldn't actually name some very easy brands, even though they looked very familiar, but we could dredge up some really obscure trivia to answer other questions. It is easy to learn how to play and doesn't drag on for too long ( always a pet hate with teenagers) and it kind of hooks even the members of the family who loathe board games (my hubby)as you just can't resist having a go at some of the questions. Our particular copy of the game was missing the play pieces, but I'm pursuing that with the company itself, it wasn't too important for us.

Good game for a group of friends, not sure how old a child would need to be for this as I play with adults, but as you can play it as a team or as individuals it is easy to get the right mix of abilities to have fun, lots of questions are about sweets so children should have the edge on those questions (although we were better at the sweet questions than the alcohol ones)? It's not just about logos so the name is slightly misleading, but it is all about brands that you see in the supermarket etc.Very good game, we have had it about 3 weeks and played it 4 times and we still have plenty of question cards left to get through. The only failing of this game is perhaps that it is too short but the remedy for this is to go around the board twice and then it works out just fine.:)

We bought this for our family at Christmas time and have had lots of fun playing it. Our youngest is 8 and so it was a little advanced for her but she is happy to play along on somebody's team. Our 11 and 13 year olds love joining in and there are plenty of questions that are within their knowledge. The rules are easy to understand and although you are supposed to play it in two teams so that a failed question can be offered to the opposing team, I played it with two friends so we were all against each other and that worked too. One person read the question, one person answered and the third person was offered the question if it had been unanswered. We then all swapped around for the next person's go.

Good fun! I bought it so the family could play it on christmas day after dinner. Surprising number of questions, and surprising how many answers we got...shows the power of advertising! I expect we will pplay it occasionally when friends come round, but it's not particularly stimulating. Then again, the fact that there is such a range of questions makes it ideal for mixed ages since there are questions which are fine for the very young and the not-so-young, and it doesn't require input or inventiveness from the players. At the end of the day, it's a cardboard board-game with a packet of question cards and some poor-looking plastic playing pieces, so not great value at the price, but good fun to play.

Brought to keep kids and relatives amused and out of my way at Christmas.Anyone can play. They certainly can and seemed to enjoy it for 30 mins or so. Then one by one drifted away making lame excuses.Questions were ok and relevant to time of year, liked the fact you could play it year round too. Would recommend if you have limited time or patience to look for something else.In conclusion nice but ultimately a bit gimmicky sold on Christmas appeal. Well that was why we got it. Something for everyone to play, with a Christmas theme running through it. However over a three week time period of changing house guests (short and long term hangers on) The game was played two almost three times.

Excellent as it brings back memories of the past and what is Great about Great Britain(which we all take for granted). I was born in Glasgow so it brought many memories back for me of my past. The Great British Bull dog is connected to Winston Churchill and the advert for Insurance. The sweets that you remember from the past such as Coca Kola Cubes mmm delicious, sherbet dips, chocolate eclairs, crisps with the little blue bag of salt I could go on forever. Wonderful game wonderful fun and very funny. It also helps the younger generation to know a little of our history. I told my grand daughter about pound shillings and pence currency we had in my childhood and she did not believe me. haha

This is a great little Christmas game, I thought it would make a good family game although some of the questions were a bit hard for my 5 and 8 year old. You have to play in 2 teams so just had 1 adult and 1 child on each team. There isn't many question cards so once you have played it a couple of time you may remember the answers. It's really easy to learn to play, answer the questions correctly, hook a object on to the tree for each correct answer, the first team to the top gets to put the star on the top and wins.I brought it for around £10 and I don't think I would want to pay much more than that for it.

Arrived before Christmas. Each Christmas we have a new board game, so this one was chosen. This one suited all ages, difficult to judge abilities, but above age 6 - 8. If people struggled with the concepts/ reading/ knowledge, than I would say it would also be suitable for pairs as a team approach. As adults - it led to night of hilarity. I won’t give the game away, but it is telling about generational eating/product brands. Also learnt a lot through discussion around the table. Everyone gets a turn of question master and answering questions. We thought it was a well designed board game hence 5 stars.

My family enjoyed playing this game several times over the Christmas period. We even took it to relatives on Boxing Day.[They had bought the Best of British game which we also played. That was fun too, so I would recommend it.] The Logo questions can be answered by any age range, our youngest was 7years old, and it only takes an hour or two to complete which is great, having spent 5hrs playing Trivial Pursuit one year.Education value doesn't really come into it as you either know the answers or not but if you watch alot of tv, eat sweets and cakes or do the weekly shop you will be fine!

Got this game for christmas as i was looking for something the family could play over the christmas period. First run out great fun. The question set is great in that adults and children can all get involved. We played with a group of ten people age ranged from 6 to 63 and everyone had fun without the questions being too difficult or exclusive. My only criticism would be of the game rules are not straightforward. The board layout and sequence isn't quite as good as it could be.So got the game played it with the family had great fun. This will come out of the cupboard fairly regularly.

I have owned the original version of this game for around 10 years. We have played it frequently across this time on family get togethers and everybody loves it.Some of the questions where very dated when playing it recently and it prompted me to look for a newer addition and I found this. This is a brilliant game for all the family and everyone can get involved. It is much more up to date than the original and you will amaze yourself with how much you know about logos and brands.I really recommend this game, it is a refreshing change to any board game I have played before.

Played this over Christmas a number of times and it was well liked by the family. We particularly liked the fact that the game moves along quickly, this is helped by the fact the other team(s) can steal moves as unanswered/incorrectly answered questions are passed over.It says 2-6 players on the box but you can easily play with more than 6 players if you play in teams. In fact 2 players it not really enough. In my opinion it should say 4-10 players. The only problem was we felt there were too many questions on cereals, or maybe we just don't know our cereals!
