Having read a lot of reviews for other cheaper and some even slightly more expensive Parker refills, particularly the gel ones on Amazon, I was a bit worried about buying any because I know the ones from India can be problematic and that there are fake ones as well, and I have no retailers anywhere close who sell them.So I bought these based on the reviews for this paticular set and I am not sorry. They write beautifully - straight from the pack and the blue is a lovely colour compared to the darker quickflow refills. It writes very smoothly, so much so that I've decided to send for more in red and black as I have 6 Parker pens and want them all using Gel.now.These are genuine.....I know this

As many will be aware, Parker have been seen as one of the premium pen brands for a long time and whilst perhaps not as popular as they once were, they still make very high quality pens and refills.This particular ballpoint refill is no different and it is designed to fit in all Parker Gel Point and Ball Point pens. The refill I have received contains red ink, but as can be seen from the product page, they are also available in black and blue ink.The only issue I have with this refill is one of pure personal preference and that is that I think that rollerball pens are much nicer to write with and leave a much better finish. Likewise, I've always associated ball point pens with the cheap,

I have used Parker products since my schooldays, many years ago, and I still have a couple of their fountain pens and a bottle of Quink ink. I also use some of their other pens on a more regular basis so I was interested in trying this Parker Gel Ball Pen Refill with Medium Nib – Red. The refill is a good quality product, as you would expect from this brand, although the red colour may be of rather limited use for most people. However, Amazon also offer the more popular black and blue in good value two-packs on the same Product Page. Red is perfect for teachers, book-keepers and similar users, and the Quink gel is designed for neat writing and quick drying of the ink – the Quink name is actually derived from QUick-drying INK!

CLASSIC=======What I like about Parker is the form factor of a parker pen is the same for al types of refill. Gel, Ballpoint etc. So I found an old parker pen. (I think I got it free from Michael Parkinson for requesting a quote...)OUT OF THE PACKET=================The refill writes pretty well straight out of the packet. It does write a little better after writing a little.PLANE======I did use it on a plane and found it wasn't as good. So I'd recommend this for earth but not for plane travel.DRYING TIME===========The drying time is quite quick. I didn't find my hands covered with with ink. (I'm right handed though)ALL PAPER==========I tried on paper, newspaper, business cards etc.

I've tried many ballpoints, and many rollerballs. Some Parker rollerballs come out fantastic, and some absolutely horribly scratchy ones, it's just the luck of the draw, the quality control is all over the place...but these GEL BALL POINT (G2 STYLE) ARE THE ABSOLUTE BEST BALLPOINTS of any brand. The quality of these seem to be consistent, unlike the Parker rollerballs. Most ballpoint pens accept G2 Style refills, so make sure you get these GEL BALLPOINT BY PARKER, and not just a regular Parker Quink flow. But most importantly, make sure it is in BLUE, cause the Parker blue is beautiful, however, the black gel does look more like a rollerball than a ballpoint, since these are the Gel,

I have two Parker pens and this red ink/gel refill fits both of them as with all other standard refills.The red refill arrives in standard Parker packaging but also with a plastic 'nib cover' to keep the ink/gel fresh.The writing experience is smooth and immediately responsive to touch, flowing across a paper surface as with all other Parker pens that I have used over the years. The red ink/gel is bright and clear and dries very quickly indeed.Many people may have little use for a red refill but it ideally suits my own personal purposes and requirements, and I am absolutely thrilled with this refill. Highly recommended.

I love my Parker Pens and use them constantly, both at home and at work. So, when the ink does, finally, run out, it is worthwhile replacing the ink with a proper Parker refill. It is simple to replace - you simply unscrew the pen in the middle, take out the old refill and put in the new. Just make sure that you do it over a table, in case anything falls out - you don't want to searching around for small parts.This Parker Gel Ball Pen Refill is red and, with a medium nib, it gives you clear, smooth writing. These refills do last a long while and so it is certainly worth investing in the correct ones.

Parker Gel Ball Pen Refill with Medium Nib is for me one item which is easy to recommend as with all Parker pens they have provided a great working pen refill with constant ink flow with no obstruction whatsoever. This pen refill has fitted most of my Parker pens which I am very happy with.Parker pens always provide a top class product and this is certainly another one, they have covered the nib with a plastic tip which prevents any ink from drying out.This is a top quality item and one I know I will get good use off.I am happy to recommend Parker Gel Ball Pen Refill with medium nib.

One thing this world will never run out of is cockroaches and ink. This ink happens to be one of them. It writes well, but skips a little when scribbling. Trust me. I love scribbling. I love surplus ink. I scratch things into the tables at work, and draw the S shape and try out different patterns during meetings. Occasionally, I lift my noggin and agree when others are agreeing. Gives off the illusion that I’m listening. I have tried both gel and ballpoint ink with Parker’s. I will always stick with the gel inks from now on. They are smooth like butter and silent like a lasagne.

Positive: These gel refills for Parker pens give a smooth, consistent line when writing with no skipping or hard starts and laying down a fine to medium line.Negative: The only real downside is one that upi find with all gel ink pens - they tend to run out much quicker than a standard ballpoint, so effectively the 'cost per word' is rather high when compared to longer lasting ball point pens or the cheaper cost of ink for fountain pens.Overall amazon (at the time of purchase) were the cheapest offering I could find on genuine Parker refills and were a worthwhile purchase.

I much prefer the Gel refill over the standard in refills and the feel so much nicer to write with, almost like a fountain pen.Over the years I have bought all the colours, and must have used at least 36+ of them.For a start they don't dry out, even of left for months and months, and they have never leaked either, something that does tend to happen with some standard ink refills (not Parker ones I might add) which make such a mess and take a lot of cleaning up afterwards.Of course people have different opinions but for me these have been nothing less than superb !

These are NOT the cheapo items you get from India or suchlike with the fake hologram on and horrid card.No, this is a good quality Parker - the kind of which I haven't had for years as I've been using knock offs.Ink is smooth and NO BLOBS! The packaging card shows quality and the delivery was speedy. Well done!They are slightly more expensive - but it's darn well worth it as these are my fave refills along with the gel Easy flow 9000M - which are really good.I use the Parkers because the take to difficult paper - e.g. shiny.

I have various pens now with various refills. My son and I did a little test to see which was our favourite pen to write with (regarding the ink refill not the actual pen). We both decided on the same pen, we opened it and found it was this refill inside.The others were: space pen, parker normal and another brand.The ink is a lovely deep blue and runs freely but without splodging like some gels do.I'll be ordering some more (to replace the one my son has now stolen for school).

Parker seemed to fall out of favour over the last decade or so - mainly because it was given away as a free gift by a large number of companies (some of whom were not seen as "good" companies but a bit shady). It was a shame as the quality of Parker didn't seem to be faltering, but their reputation took a hit by association).These Parker refills are lovely writers. There is minimal botching and no gritty feeling when writing with them.I am very please with these refills.
