These pens are really cool. You can write and if you make a mistake you can use the eraser on the cap to correct yourself. If only I had one of these when I did my A-levels (pre- PC days handwritten essays)!! However, there is a way to use these pens and if you write or push too hard on the paper, the eraser will not completely eradicate the writing. If you know this and use a gentler touch, it totally works within 24 hours (as it is claimed). If you figure out the pressure you need to apply in order for the erasing to be possible, these work well and for that I award five stars. By far, my favourite non-fountain pen. I wish they make a premium refillable version.

I use these in exams and for lab work. No better way to keep your exam essays and practical lab results looking neat, even if you messed up! Just rub it out and rewrite. Be warned, the ink seems to fade over time, esp if the paperwork is kept in binders where the paper will rub against other leaves. So not ideal for note taking in lectures, as 6 months later in revision time, you might find your writing too faded to read. But perfectly good for exams and lab work that gets marked straight away.

My 12 year old son loves using these pens, as if a mistake is made a correction is easy & no-one knows!!very nice to write with. Bought the 12pack as I know they are his favorite pen & alot cheaper per pen this way! Quick & efficient shipping. The pens are a good shade of blue (traditional blue color ink) from the picture they look more turquoise, but in reality a "propper" blue which is great for school. Very pleased!

I have purchased it for my little girl.It has eraser that attatched to a pen, and my daughter found it very useful as she can rub it off when she is not happy with what she has written or made mistakes.It saves her time and efforts from writing it all over again especially for homeworks.The eraser still doesn't completely remove trace of ink, but it is still good product!I recommend it.

My eleven year old has fairly sloppy handwriting (don't they all)and I wanted to find a pen which would rub out without tearing up half the page. This pen is fantastic - in fact so good that my boy gave them to all his friends. It writes like a pen and rubs out as easily as a pencil. Also it's not expensive. Well done Papermate. I will be having to buy a new box of these pens shortly!

I love these pens. If you're like me and make the occasional mistake during writing, then you can easily rub it out and overwrite it.However, occasionally the ink smudges a little (it takes a little time to set - hence you can rub it off). Also, if you delay in erasing text (especially some days), it isn't possible to remove all ink completely.Still very useful.

These had been recommended by my son's tutor, as suitable for exams, because although erasable at first, the ink becomes permanent after about 24 hours, so is allowed in exams. The ink erases very easily, and a normal pencil eraser also works, if the one on the pen lid is used up.Also useful for crosswords etc I should imagine!

Very good, works quite well. I use for doing crossword.The eraser doesn't always clear fully and leaves the outline of the previous letter sometimes.If you are into prize crosswords, don't know of that would affect the entry.Overall, I like them and in fact bought another set.

I chose these because I was given some as a present, liked them. So decided to look on line for some more. I chose the best deal that I could find and that was Newell Rubbermaid ordered them. They came exactly when they said they would. I would order again when necessary

I have been using these for thirty years in different incarnations. The original in steel was the best, now unobtainable, then thin beige plastic and now these. Easy grip, write straight away, but not much use on glossy paper as they just make a mess.

Blue & black useful for crossword and other 'puzzlers'. Red useful for editing or correcting script, proofs etc.Ink could be a little darker.A novel gift for school-children.Have not found any similar products on the market that are eraseable.

Good pens for solving crossword puzzles, getting a pack of 3 for close to what they're asking for *one* at a local store here (exactly the same item). I usually buy these when I'm ordering other things from Amazon at the same time.

Excellent, use these all the time.so handy for eraseing mistakes,Useful for crossword puzzle users.I did find this particular set perhaps a little 'drier' than usual as they didn't last quite as long as setsI have had before.

I do lots of crosswords and these pens are ideal if you make a mistake. You do have to press on a little harder than a normal pen but that is not a hardship. Have bought another two packs as stocking fillers. Great price too!!

My son needed some erasable pens for school this year, I struggled to find them in the shops, he only needed 2 but figured they would get lost/run out so buying the box was far better value than packs of 2 or 3.
