My son plays tag rugby and got home one day from school saying he needed a new pair of boots and it had to be got that afternoon! The sort of thing 11 year old boys expect! I convinced him that no way his dad or I could drop everything and go shopping, so it would have to be the weekend. Our lad went away with a frown on his face - but it soon turned to a smile when I called him up to have a look at this item on Amazon. He checked it out, compared it with a few others and agreed it was a good choice. Phew!The Optimum Boys RBTBRJ6 Tribal Rugby Boots arrived a day later than expected, but we can live with that. The main thing was that I could get it online and not have to traipse into shops with him in tow.

Bought for my once a week rugby training. I chose these as they were a good price as I just need them for two hours on a Thursday!Positives: extremely comfortable, the laces have proved strong and they fit perfectly! I always order a size large in rugby boots as I wear massively thick socks and they are a great fit with. I think if I ordered the size smaller they would fit with normal sock thickness so I'd say the fit is accurate.Negatives: None! It's hard to comment on quality because mine don't get a beating or used for games but they are holding up great so far!Overall, a great cheap pair of boots and I'm very pleased with them.

Received these rugby boots in super-quick time and in mint condition. My son needed them for rugby at school for the coming year. He's a size 5 (measured by Clarks) and after buying football astro-turf trainers in a size 7 (adult size and price) and trying on other rugby boots that fitted him at size 6.5 (adult size and price), its a relief that these are true to size (length-wise).Well done seller and Optimum for not making parents pay adult prices for kids shoes!

These are great boots. However, they are a little small. I bought up a size expecting them to last my son a while, but they only just fit. I needed them this weekend so it was too late to return them. I trusted the other reviews here which said they were true to size, but I have to disagree, they are just not as painfully small as some other brands. That said, they are great and I would buy them again.

I gave this product a five star rating because of the fact that the product itself is great, and also this product is very nice looking, they don't look or feel cheap.I'd highly advise / recommend that others looking for decent rugby boots for a reasonable price get these! Also the delivery time was very quick and the company are very informative as to where you product is at specific times!

The main benefit was getting these when we needed them! Price was good and quality not bad. We bought these for school and my daughter is usually a size 3. We bought size 4 as she has to wear bulky socks and they are a little big but work. We replaced the laces with elastic to help her get ready for pe quicker.She said she likes them but i do think they are a little big (which I expected!)

Very tight to start with, but eased up with time. Still a little too small. I have been playing rugby for 27 years and have had a lot of size 10's in that time. go for a size bigger than you normally take. Grip however with my new little more compact feet is good and I have still banged in a few tries with them(19st Prop Forward who should retire)

Bought these for my son who's just started playing rugby at school and has made it into the school team. They seem to be tough and well made from first inspection. He says they are comfortable. How they hold up to some punishment only time will tell. If they fall apart after a few games/training sessions I'll update the review to reflect this.

Some of the reviews indicated that the sizing was on the small side, I take a 12 and the fit like a glove including my insoles for my knees. Found them better than my addidas, so far they are very good and would buy another pair and recommend these. 53 year old prop playing first team rugby and need decent traction.

Rugby boots can run small so this is the larger of the two pairs (size 4) I bought for my son(age 10). So far they’re great as all our optimum gear usually is.. really bright colour so easy to spot him During the play on the field... studs needed a tighten after delivery but the supplied key did the trick

I was initially unsure about purchasing these boots as they were so cheap, turns out I had nothing to worry about as they just fine, I have a wider foot and suffer from arch pain whilst playing, these boots have somehow cured the problem even on dry ground. I would recommend these boots to anybody.

The boots arrived as expected my son wore them the next day in a rugby festival he said they were fantastic, comfortable considering I brought them with out his knowledge & little of my own when it comes to boots these are worth every penny and as my son tells me ' I did good for a mum '

I bought a men's size 9 for my boy aged 13, to replace smaller boots ( he had the same boots previously) Great value, great price. I have found that other brand of boots are ridiculously expensive, but I'm guessing because size 9 is so common among men.Worth a go if you want quality

Really impressed with these boots I bought for my son. I bought them for him to limp through to the end of the season as they were so reasonable, but he loves them more than his other boots, they are comfortable and they have lasted extremely well! Will be buying these again!
