After much agonising and one cancelled order at the eleventh hour, reading reviews, I finally got the Boys Large for my 9 year old daughter who plays U10s. Her measurements were 28” so was a bit confused, the sizes definitely seem to come up smaller than they say.They have started rucks, mauls and scrums so decided she could do with one. It is not skin tight but certainly not too big and in the coming winter with skins and layers it will be perfect and should last a couple of seasons.First tournament tomorrow so arrived just in time.Very impressed that it was ordered at 9pm and was here by 5.30 the next day.Very happy little girl now all ready to “go tackle some boys”

The size on this was a little misleading as my son had the small gloves and they were a little tight but this was size 7-8 and it was a better fit. I think its safe to say the size on these are pretty good and that my son is just small for his age. He loves this kit and it has given him a lot of confidence when playing. It's not cheap at £29.99 and the stitching on the front is a little untidy but overall this is a nice top.

The only issue is washing it. The designs stick together and peel off. However this is washed after every time my daughter wears it which is 3 times a week, but she sweats and it stinks. So needs to be washed.Its light weight padding and flat, unlike the Canterbury brand we were using before and the pads are removable.

Great padded rugby top. Used by my son, it protects the main impact points well. Looks good with it's funky design. Only downside is cleaning it as it is a little fiddly to get the pads out to wash it. It's not recommended for use in a washing machine, but we have put it through a cool wash a few times with no issue.

Bought this product for my 10-year-old son it was a perfect fit giving him lots of room for skins underneath and rugby top above. Easy to remove the padding and wash the top and able to easily replaced the padding back in to the top. Very good quality material would buy again. I would recommend this product.

For the price paid a very good set of pads, As with a lot of the other reviews the sizing is a bit out. As a small bloke I ordered the size up and glad I did as the medium is a bit of a squeeze. That being said very comfortable and offers good protection in contact and added bit of confidence.

We were looking for a protective shoulder pad shirt and this was the first one with the right size for my son.He's very happy to have one with such a cool design that fits perfectly.I believe he can have less shoulder injuries with the use of this shirt

Sizing all wrong ended having to get my son a much bigger size as the first two he could not even get inGreat top and good quality just go up a size or two otherwise I think I got him medium men’s and his 14 and not a massive lad either

Good quality for the price, I am very pleased with the removable pads also!Only problem is I ordered a Large when I'm usually a Medium and its still a little too snug.Other than that, arrived on time and with no hassle. Very happy.

Changed the game of rugby for me, I no longer feel miserable and banged up after a match. Highly recommend as a must have for all rugby players, will significantly improve the game for you and leave you feeling better after the game.

Very good quality. I would recommend getting a little bigger than usual. I'm a medium (5'11 41inch chest) for most things but this is a bit tight and can be uncomfortable after playing. But it's still really good piece of kit

Looks like it will be a great top but have had to send it back and get the size up. My son is 13 but is only 145cm tall, is small/average build and wears age 11-12 clothes and a Large Boys was too small for him.

Excellent quality. The fit WAS GREAT round my sons waist and chest. Purchased a size small and my son is a stocky 11 year old - just the right size. Washes again and again and maintains the original quality.

Bought this top for my twelve year old son, and it fits him perfectly. He's really pleased with it. Its very light, and gives him good protection on his upper body, when tackling, scrummaging etc.

While this garment is a bit snug, that is perfect for its use. The pads are nice and absorbent to soften the blow on your body. Wear it every time I play. Definitely suggest this to other buyers!
