I'm a big guy who likes to eat a lot, though I mostly eat healthy foods. I just eat large quantities. I had a flag fly up on my last physical for high blood pressure, it wasn't that high, just 145/90, and had rushed to the doctor's office from work to make the appointment. My doctor asked me if I had considered taking fish oil supplements. I really didn't know much about them, but told him I would rather take them than blood pressure medication.I went back two weeks later and my blood pressure was 118/75.Now, if it was the benefit of taking this product, I'm very happy. Truthfully though, even its not, I'm still very happy with this product.It doesn't put a big hit on the wallet and I haven't experienced any of the "fishy" side-effects I've heard about from these supplements. I know there's a lot of debate about how much DHA/EPA we need to take, but I take that with a grain of salt. I remember when I was told to take 10 grams of Creatine a day for optimal muscle gains, but that didn't work. I chose this one because I trust Optimum Nutrition and I really don't want to go around smelling like a fish. It done its job, so I'm going to order some more and hope Amazon puts it on Subscribe and Save.

These Fish Oil softgel tablets were worth the buy, they have increased my muscle mass tenfold, they have also reinvigorated my drive to work out and get even more buff. There is no substitute for this tablet, it is the best on the market and should be used by all who want to feel better and want to get buff at an alarming, in a good way, rate. If you are stuck with the lower brand fish oil pills, you need the upgrade to have these, they are superb. I used to weigh 211 pounds, with the use of these tablets mixed with other products, I am down to 198 pounds with an increased muscle mass of about 10% or more!! You must try these pills if you are a person who likes life and wants to live life to the fullest!!Try them and you will be in love forever and keep taking them until the day you are just to old to care anymore, then they will give you a reevaluation of your life and you will want to do more stuff even at your old age. Try them and you will not regret the decision! Very good value also, they cost as little as other brands of Fish Oil that are sub par to this brand, and even take out some that may have claim to be the best. These pills are life changers, buy them now!!!!

I was initially put off by the first review of this product labeling this product as a "bargain" fish oil because it didn't have "enough" DHA and EPA Omega-3 fatty acids at only a combined 300mg per softgel. The only BARGAIN from this product I can see is not getting prostate cancer from taking excessive Omega-3 doses as is typically found in other products. I tried taking over 6 softgels a day for a while and felt no added benefit from these large doses. Being young and healthy, I'm not sure what would be so beneficial to taking such large doses for decades to come. Some people are different and there is certainly nothing wrong or cost-prohibitive with taking 6 or more of these a days if that's your goal.The only rational benefit I can ascertain for now is having small amounts of fat in these softgels while taking other vitamins/multivitamins to help the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins. Thus, I only take 2-3 of these a day along with other multivitamins throughout the day. It's no miracle pill, but I think small doses throughout the day is a sensible, consistent long-term strategy.

Psoriasis CURE: I have a relative who's a chiropractor, he also studies nutrition. He told me to take fish oil for my psoriasis. I bought fish oil on sale at a big drugstore chain, it did nothing. I got THIS, and taking it 3 times a day clears up my psoriasis. Psoriasis is caused by an over active immune system, so I want to keep that. However, this does clear up the scaling, etc. I was amazed. So don't buy cheap fish oil on sale, get this. It works. If I take it three times a day it clears it up. When I forget, it comes back. And this is not bad for you. So I can't say it works for everyone but it did work for me, I have no idea it would. My son recommended ON brand Fish oil,when I told him the standard store bought stuff didn't work. He was right. I also take OptiMen vitamins, they are great and a great deal. Keep in mind you'll have to take this for 3 months to begin to see an effect, but then after that, the effect works faster. Sunlight also clears up psoriasis but not as effectively as this. You can do both, if possible.

I have taken fish oils in the past and mostly they're just flat out gross. The aftertaste generally is the reason behind that. You just take them for the health benefits. These are not bad at all. No obvious scent or taste about them. I have yet to experience any aftertaste. They seem to work as intended. I give them 4 stars because you are supposed to take 3 pills a day which seems a bit excessive and if you are regularly busy like me you may forget to take them. Plus taking 3 a day means one pill does not have even close to the total amount of supplements from these that you need in a day. So my suggestion is if you were to get these make sure you are going to take all 3 pills each dayotherwise they will likely be useless.

I am a vegetarian and had been facing issues with joint pain and severe fatigue but tests did not show any issues with my body. I searched a lot online and figured out it may be due to deficiency of omega 3 and after a lot of research online, finally thought to try ON fish oil capsules. To my surprise after a week of regular consumption, I saw a significant reduction in joint pain and fatigue. One needs to take it regularly without gaps to see best results. I would recommend this to anyone who is in general healthy but has generic symptoms (more than 1) of omega 3 deficiency like dry skin, lifeless hair, brittle nails, fatigue, joint pains, insomnia.

I have been using this product for a couple years now... For almost a year Optimum ceased to manufacture this product and I had to switch to other brands. To my surprise, the quality of the pills from other brands, including their ingredients, caused severe side effects on me. I have an extremely sensitive digestive system and I am allergic to a lot of things, to this product has demonstrated to be a winner. I was super glad when Optimum came back with this product. The pills are easy to swallow, they are not stinky (like many others), and they even look nice! Hehehehehe. It is a great addition to your healthy lifestyle. Highly recommended product.

I have been taking fish oils for many years but always seem to not be quite as satisfied by the ones I get in my local shop. So, I searched for this and I can tell you that I really believe it helps promote better health. Fatty acids seem to be the big thing more and more so I am happy to continue taking these. The bottle goes a long way as it has more soft gels than some other ones I've purchased. The only reason I gave it a four instead of a five is that for my personal preference, the soft gels are a bit big for swallowing. But, I swallow them with a large swig of water and it goes down. I will buy them again.

I love this fish oil, if you dont already take fish oil get some! Im telling you, its worth it and will really help you body. I had a cholesterol problem a few years ago. Im 6'2" 235lbs and not a fat person as I do go to the gym on the regular. All I changed in my diet was adding fish oil and eating old fashion rolled oats and now my cholesterol is now in check. I really do feel a difference, my skin and hair just feels so much more healthier. It suppose to promote healthy brain function. My wife is now using it and she says the same that she too feels that it is making her hair and skin feel healthier.

I have not taken fish oil before, so I do not have other brands to compare this bottle to, but I can say the following:1) At no point have I ever tasted fish after swallowing a pill.2) At no point have I belched and tasted fish.3) The pills themselves have no taste.4) The pills have a slight texture to them, but the texture does not impede swallowing.5) A friend of mine recommended I take fish oil to alleviate joint pain that I experience in my right thumb after working out. I can confidently say that taking this product did alleviate some, not all, of my joint pain, and for that I am pleased.

I take 3-4 with my post workout shakes. I lift heavy and often. I'm over 30 and I have no joint pain. If you're looking into this because of joint pain you should first address the impact of the acidity of your diet and how that affects your joints. Don't be looking for a bandaid, go to the source of the problem. This is a must for lifters in my opinion. I won't risk going without good oils and fats in my diet. A supplement is just a supplement tho. This is extra for me. I would probably be ok with just the way I eat but I put my body through a lot and this is a must after a lift.

What can I say about this product. I drink it for the general health purposes so I didn't see any particular major improvements in my health or digestion. However I noticed that it contains only 300mg of EPA/DHA, that's 3 times less than another Norwegian product I used to take, therefore it significantly complicates my diet. now i have to remember to take 3 times a day instead of just drinking it once. It doesn't have any fishy aftertaste as promised, however in the beginning you may experience uncomfortable smell.

These are great. I decided to go with these over a similar competitor (that was slightly less expensive) but decided on "ON" because of the enteric coated capsules. If you don't know what that means, it prevents the capsule from dissolving in your stomach. This is beneficial for two (maybe more) reasons: 1) You won't get a fishy after taste in burps, 2) You body absorbs more of the oil because it is not exposed to the acid in your stomach. Your intestine is where nutrients are absorbed. Stomach dissolves food.

Great product -I searched for this because I was looking into the Advocare 10 day cleanse, and their products are 3x more expensive. So - I already use ON for protein, I figured I would try them for vitamins.... MONEY!!Some fish oil tastes and makes your breath smell like you just felated a farm animal. This DOES NOT!!!Keep in bottle (not out in open) as softgels will become squishy. (Probably doesn't lose any nutritional value, just feels weird)Will order again once I run out.

Bought this after GP confirmed X-Ray had shown arthritis in my right knee. I only take one a day but my knee pain has gone, although I also use orthotic insoles now too. However the thing I am perhaps happiest about is that I can kneel on the wooden floors again without any pain. Before I just had to flop down on one side and get up one legged, NOT easy! I still found this easier than bending over for too long but am just glad I can now do this easily again.
