The Noctua air cooler is one of the very few that claims to be able to handle the Threadripper, and it does so handily. My current rig is a 12 core 24 thread 1st generation chip, and it idles right around 20c with this unit. It comes with extra hardware, so you can add another 120mm fan in a push-pull arrangement, or replace both with ARGB fans or higher flow rate fans with simple to use spring clips. It also has rubber angle bushings on the corners of the fan and an extra set for an additional fan. The fan connector is standard, but it also has an extension that allows it to fit on either 3 or 4 pin headers. It fits in a Lian Li standard mid tower case with a tempered glass side panel,

Emergency buy to replace a failed AIO cooler, it cools the CPU amazingly well while also being silent. It fits perfectly in my mATX case but the size can be a concern for a smaller case. This is not my first Noctua and as always they delivered. Being designed specifically for TR4 it fits perfectly over the CPU. Having no moving parts except the fans and those can be easily replaced it is guaranteed to be a more reliable solution than AIO coolers that have disappointed me big time. The only thing I can't comment because I didn't try is the overclocking headroom. Overall, Noctua gets a 5 star rating from me.

I bought this as a temporary solution to a faulty Enermax TR4 360 water cooling system. To my surprise the temperatures are idling around 31 to 34 in my case. I am so pleased with the results that I decided to keep this cooling my 1950x. I don't overclock my systems therefore this is perfect for me. I have an Asus Zenith Extreme so this is a good option because Asus decided to go against the standard layout thus having less distance between the top pcie slot.Overall this is far better than I expected. It not load at all and is barely noticeable. Installing is easy and it comes with all you need.

Aside from the weird color palette which....ew.....It's a damn good cooler for my OC 2950X. I chose it over all the other named and no-named water coolers because Noctua has been the best air coolers I've ever had the chance of using in all my builds for the last few years. so I've come to rely on tem as my first choice/consideration/recommendations and I haven't been disappointed yet

I bought this for a windows server build using the ASRock x399 TaiChi motherboard and a threadripper 1950x. This CPU cooler was comically easy to install. I just mounted it on the cpu, hand twisted four screws, then used the included tool to finish. I didn't have to remove the backplate and I still had enough clearance for rgb ram.Five minute installation equals five stars!

Works very well when non overclocked. The heat sink becomes saturated faster but also cools faster compared to water, essentially less lag in temps. I'm seeing 68c for the max average for occasional heavy workloads, with an idle average of around 38c which is only slightly warmer than water. Gaming averages around 52c. This is all perfect for an air cooler.

My Enermax AIO completely failed recently, so I decided to go with this cooler after reading some reviews. I was a little worried because the AIO didn't do a super great job of handling the heat, but this cooler works great at stock speeds. My idle temperatures are lower than they were with the AIO and it's quieter as well. Five stars!

Top quality product with all possible fixings and eseentials included. Optimal size too with option to add an extra fan on the other side. On its own with jus one fan it is cooler than the liquid cooling because its contact surface match exactly the oversize AMD Ryzen Threadripper CPU.

Used this on my threadripper as my AIO died after a year. This was a great replacement as it's whisper quiet and keeps the threadripper just as cool as the AIO. Highly recommend this, I don't think I'll ever go back to an AIO. Also this is the easiest cooler I've ever installed.

This is a beast of a CPU fan. I put it on an AMD Threadripper 1950X, keeps it at a cool 30 degree C. This thing is huge, barely fits in my full size tower. I have no trouble with DIMMS fitting below the fan of this which was a big concern for me. No regrets at all.

I was using a Cooler Master liquid cooling system and the pump failed on me. Got this cooler and it does a great job cooling so far. I think it might be keeping my cpu cooler then the previous cooler I had, but I haven't stress tested for very long.

I would say it's one of the best fans if you really care about the quietness of your desk. For me, It's really important to have a quiet place. This fan is more than fine for that and everything is working fine.

The HSF keeps my Threadripper 1900X quite cool even with an OC to 4.0GHz. The metal contact area is key to superior cooling over alternatives. A quality product all around.

It is doing its job very well. My ryzen 1950x CPU hasnt had any heat issues even under heavy loads. One point, it is very big and if your case is small, it doesn't fit.

It actually works better than the water cooling option I was planning on going with, it goes on super easy and does a good job of keeping my cpu cool.
