This game has good graphics and the storyline is not as tedious as some, the dialogue sections are relatively short, there are many puzzle locks to solve, I think there was only one hidden object scene. The puzzles were absorbing but not very difficult, you get a lot of clues from the photos, which are a nice change from the usual objectives book. The pieces you need to solve the puzzles are readily to hand without having to go back hunting through room after room. There is no on-board strategy guide, big fish want to sell that to you, but the hints are pretty comprehensive so a strategy guide is not really needed. I enjoyed the game but it was not very long, I finished it in a few hours.

This is a good game for those of us oldies who still enjoy a something to stretch our minds a little. The puzzles were fairly easy, but also fun to do. I liked the idea of the photos, they tied in well with the puzzle you were doing at the time. My problem was that in places I was having to really push the cursor round the screen, probably a fault on my disc, but it meant me having to shut the whole thing down for a few moments then start up again. This got better as I went along though and I was sailing through at the end. I could not load it onto Vista, not sure why, but it loaded fine onto XP. I liked it.

Really enjoyed this good brain stretcher of a game where things are not necessarily obvious and take some thinking effort to solve. Packed full of mini games and puzzles, more in the style of an adventure where you find things to use than the usual HOG tasks of finding scenes with lots of odd things in such as a sea horse in a living room. Almost tempted to say this reminded me of Prof Layton type of game with the different kinds of puzzles in there. Really good value for money as this took days to complete as almost everything needed to be checked out with your mouse. More like this please.

I enjoyed The Witch's Prison so much that I bought my brother a copy as part of his Christmas present.The game is not really a hidden objects game, more of a point and click adventure game. Lots of variety in the mini-games during this, only one of which was a hidden objects game as such.The game isn't that difficult, and for the price, well worth buying.There is a walkthrough in the Big Fish Games website if you need it. There is no need to buy the Strategy Guide - that isn't needed at all.

Some hidden adventure games are tedious and make you want to go to fall into a deep slumber, this hidden adventure game is great and keep you entertained whilst stretching the imagination a little, a little brainteaser I would call it! It started a little slow but the game got better and more interesting if not trickier! The focus of the game is on an abandoned mental institution cloaked in mystery its name is `Blackwater Asylum' It follows as she hopes to find truth about her ancestor's history.

This is not your typical list of items to find. It's more of an adventure where you proceed by finding things you need. The graphics are terrific and the puzzles are fairly easy but if you hit one that's too difficult the option to skip is always there. There are hints as well. The hint button takes a few minute to refresh but not too long. (There is great walkthrough on line if needed.) The story is interesting and keeps you going. Overall a pleasant surprise.

I really enjoyed this game. it is more of a puzzle and adventure game than a hidden object game but I think I enjoyed it more because of that fact. I was so absorbed however that before I knew it the game was over. I really wish that it had been longer and I really hope there is a sequel. From the way it ended I am assuming there must be. Definately worth the money.

This is a very addictive point and click adventure game. It has a very interesting storyline and equally interesting puzzles. The graphics are wonderful and immersive. There are some puzzles that were too tricky and I did need to look at a walkthrough. Overall a fantastic purchase that gave me hours of pleasure!

This hidden adventure game is very good. It started quite slowly and I was wondering whether or not I had wasted my money. As the game progressed the puzzles got better and game came more to life. I play lots of hidden objects/adventure games and would recommend it. Very enjoyable

This is an excellent game. The puzzles are pretty tricky and you have to give some thought to them. I thoroughly enjoyed playing it and the graphics and story line enhanced the game too. Highly recommended.

Excellent and very enjoyable game which keeps you occupied for hours. Good plot line and very good graphics help to enhance your experience. Objects are well hidden and disguised. Highly recommended.

I really have become entranced by these Hidden Object games. Big Fish has the best. I can get lost in these games for hours and hours! Great Deal, too. I wish they would make movies ov these games.
