I downloaded a free trial from Big Fish to try out this game for an hour. And I'm glad I did!Even though I liked the story of MYSTERY PLACES THE TOWN WITH NO NAME, that of a secret town in a forest, which the inhabitants had disappeared from, the actual gameplay and incessant dialogue put me off.The graphics are nothing spectacular, however I don't mind that...it's the lack of detail in the scenes (e.g. no scuttling beetles, no hoot of an owl, no rustle of leaves, no long forgotten teddybear left on a swing etc.), lack of interaction (e.g. not opening more than one drawer, not being able to turn on a tap or flush the toilet, pick up a glass etc.), and not being able to look up or down,

All I can say is thank goodness there are 4 games on this disk, because you are really paying your money for just 2. The games: 'A Town With No Name' and 'The Secrets Of The Ghost Manor' are just for show, I think, seeing as you really end up going no where with those two; when you start the game and listen to the tutorial you think 'good, now I can get on and play the game. But as other people have said, it really goes no where. You wander aimlessly around the game wondering if you missed something but no... it is the game at fault, there is no help and all you end up doing is getting mad at it. You can't take the photos when something happens or record it and by the time you are free to do so (the game halts all actions while it plays the ghostly sounds or videos)

I was looking forward to playing this game, even though it is also at big fish (under another name).I loaded this onto my compuer and was rewarded with at least an hour of game play before it sent me back to the desktop.I wasn't going to be beaten and i tried to load it again but this time was rewarded with 10 seconds of loading before it sent me scurrying back to the desktop yet again.Since then I have tried every trick in the book from un-installing and re-installing, getting my son to see if he could work it, (A Level Advanced Computing) and even trying it on my lap top.NOTHING WORKS!So the one star that this has received is because it fitted into my letter box along with all the rest of

I love video games and have to agree with all that the previous reviewer said. This is awful. SO much dialogue to have to listen through - you cannot skip it. There is not a lot to do at all and I kept going round in circles thinking I was missing things - and I wasn't - there really wasn't anything to do!There was hardly any interaction programmed in for the user at all, in fact the lack of things to do in this game was really incredible!. There is no help button, or pause so you cannot stop and see if you are going wrong. Mindless and very very boring - worse then boring. An insult from the producers who put no effort into making this worth its money.My advice; do not buy

I bought this program some time ago and have tried playing it. Basically it crashes and will not run again. WARNING! DO NOT BUY.
