Right, with the dream you have to control the horse. What you do is you have to press down on the up arrow on your keyboard to go faster and follow the light. Be careful though because there are jumps along the way and also watch out for trees, if you hit one (or a rock) the dream stops and you have to do it again. Once you have done that part of the dream it shows a clip of amanda talking to her dad. When that finishes you have to go to the little town bit and talk to annie because amanda asks who used to own the house. annie says its mr roberts so you go to the water fountain place, talk to him but he doesn't say muc, go back to the town talk to annie again and amanda says that she'll enter and win the competition.Then you go back to the waer fountain place and go to the gate where normally a ? shows. You press enter and now you have to do the show. You win by going fast and clear, be careful for jump 4 as you have to straighten up and also the jump after the triple, for this one slow right down to trot, ride deep into the corner straigten up and do the slowest canter to and over the jump, after that press down the up arrow and you go faster. Once you win there's a clp of you getting an award etc. Then you go to the fountain place and mr roberts tells you all about the mistreated horses etc. Then you have to pick up some keys from the floor, go back to your house and open the cupboard in the old barn thing (takes three goes) and you find a picture of the barn where your horse is kept and there's a chest that isnt there now in the picture. go back to the fountain place, talk to mr roberts, try to open his chest with the keys, try three times but it doesnt work so go back to your house and pick up the crowbar, go back to the fountain place open the chest and you find a blood stained whip, then you go to the town bit talk to the lady in the shop, talk to a few people around there and then go home again. Talk to the dad and he says he's made a hammock. then go and sleep in the hammock and the second part of the dream comes on. once again be careful of jumps and trees and rocks. When you've completed that you wake up and amanda says to ride on the forest trail behind the house to find a way to the bit in the dream she talks about. Now this is where i'm stuck, i cant find any trail at all. please help. if i do find the trail i'll post again on here to say so :-)hope this helped(-:

Ok, loads of people have been writing really bad reviews for this game, but I'm gonna write a good one(:The music is fine, I never even noticed it until I read someone's review that said it was annoying! I didnt even realise there was music, so it's not that bad.It doesnt require much detective skills, but it is fun solving the mystery, and it is hard. I only just figured it out, and had it for several years, and I am not dumb.The horse care is the best horse care I have played on any horse game. It allows you to take care of your horse in lots of ways, feeding it according to its 'feeding plan', and having to fill a bucket with water before pouring it into a thing in the horse's stall - I have never got to do these things on any other horse game,and it's nice.The dressage is much more fun than any other horse game I've played, and I enjoy it. The jumping could be expanded upon, but it is fun, as is the cross country.The dream isn't hard at all for me, you just follow the light as closely as you can - you need your horse to be quick to keep up with the light, so maybe try a bit more cross country to boost his speed level before trying it again.There are some things wrong though.* The little video clips in the game are boring, and you can't skip them. None of them go on for long, but it irritates me when starting a new game to not be able to just skip those parts.* The story doesn't have much of an ending, and the storyline is short, but fun.* There are only five horses to choose from, and you only have one horse throughout the game. It does say this on the back of the case though.* The actual riding stuff it quite easy.Overall, I'd say a goods little game, but if you want something you can play for a while without completing it, I'd recommend the Pippa Funnell series. They are all excellent.

the review 2 below this one is perfect to the letter apart from when you doo the competition make a line to the jump and then hold the space bar down and let go just before the jump...after the second dream on the hammock you have to go onto the forest trial, you'll see the gate for it behind the hammock as if you were going into a field. go into there and then you have to follow the same track as there was in the field. its quite hard to see the tracks but iv done that and no the route perfectly. its the first right, then a left, then another right. immediatly after this one go left towards the ruined walls. then a right and then straight on. hope this hellps.now im stuck because i don't no what to do a little further on because it says go to the riding club but you can't click anything. please help...ill keep you updated..x

recently I have found out how to do the dream and it helps brilliantly. But, I do not know where to go after you've jumped the first log and I try to follow the light but I always end up in branches. You control the horse and press the spacebar to leap over jumps and dodge the rocks. If you want to turn do not pressthe left or right key down hard as you turn so fast and that is why I have not completed this part of the mystery bit. It is very fun, but at the part I am in now can be furstrating. On the box it says ages 7 and up, but some 7-year olds I know get annoyed easily, so make sure your young child or yourself are patient and do not get annoyed (like me!!!! lol). Anyway thanks for everyones help,it really does help!

Firstly I have had no problems with this game whatsoever, sounds like everyone elses machines are not up to the standards of running this game as I discovered it will work brilliently on a very high spec machine (2x dual core / 2gb ram etc / 512mb dedicated graphics card) but not on a normal everyday one. Since i had no problems with it whatsoever and found it so fun and exciting with really realisic graphics, i give it 5 stars!

ive managed to complete the forest trail, follow the logs thats the easiest way to do it. After that you find the missing horses,it wasnt really marcus who abused them, he saved them. Then you get them at your stable. You then have to expose the man at the riding club but im stuck, the map flashes me to go the riding club but their is nothing to do there!, anyone know what to do, please help.

the reson some people can't see the screen properly is bacause they have the wrong type of computer to be playing this game it is actualy very good exept I am only half way through it!If anyone can tell me in one of their reveiws what the website were you can get help through the game is I would be a veir veir happy bunny!

hi,THis game is good but i cant do the compitions (is there any cheats cos my horse either nocks all the jumps down and goes fast or clear all jumps and ill have a slow time. Though for the horse picking its just about the colour which i wish it wasent

My daughter found this game is very fun, but is stuck on The Dream. I can't believe the age rating, my daughter's ten, and she can create cities on the Egypt game, but can't do this! What does the dream mean, anyway?

i feel really stupied for asking but i cant get on the horse!!!i have groomed tacked up and done all the stable work but i cant figure out how to ride!!!Also, is this game supposed to come with a manual?

Very good game, focuses more on the competition aspect rather than the generic cqre of the horse but also builds on the knowledge side of owning and training a horse.
