I bought this product elsewhere but I thought I should write a review here as the price is more than acceptable.I bought this motherboard for my first ever PC build. I wanted something that was sturdy and reliable, this motherboard ticks the boxes. The board is sturdy and showed no sign of breaking after putting pressure on it when installing the CPU cooler.The pins were a huge concern of mine as I didnt want to bend them and I am notoriously clumsy with just about anything I had no issue with the pins and none of them bent whatsoever.The BIOS is easy to understand for anyone which is helpful. I had an issue when I first booted up my PC when I exited the BIOS I was trapped in a black screen amd I hadn't installed windows 10 yet (I was running it from a USB)

I've got this running with a 3700X and Corsair Vengeance 3200MHz ram. The flashback bios updating was a little tricky as I didn't know what behavior to expect. For anyone interested, the bios flashback update takes a few minutes. My PC started up, then the flashback LEDs flashed gradually faster until the update was complete. There's a YouTube vid suggesting flashing an older bios first if you struggle to get the newer ones to flash. You need to rename the file as 'MSI.ROM'. 3 flashback LED flashes indicate the USB drive isn't set up correctly.I was able to set the RAM to 3200MHz using the BIOS XMP settings. The WIFI and Bluetooth work perfectly.There's 2 CPU power sockets, 8+4 pins.

Due to being one of the more superior B450 boards, I chose this board due to it's excellent power delivery, slick grey/silver design, programmable RGB lighting and the extremely useful built in Wifi.I had zero problems with installation and was able to screw the board into my case in seconds. The M.2 shield is also useful in keeping with the colour scheme (Especially with a WD Blue M.2 SSD). I'm aware some M.2 shields cause high temperatures, however this hasn't been an issue for me so far.The VRM heatsinks are excellent quality and compliment the overall design of the board.It's also very useful to have the BIOS flashback button.

Does what it says on the box! Fantastic board I banged a Ryzan 5 in, works lovely on 32gb hyper x 3600 ram and rx580ti works great only thing to say is because this is a normal atx and not a smaller one, when u put ya gpu in you have removed one of the metal panels on the back the ones you break off as the slot lines up with the second one down! If like me you put the mobo in first when it comes to installing the gpu and removing that panel the way it bends it hits a small chip on the board and I actually bent mine I thought I wrote the whole thing off and I had only had it 4 hours. Figure out where your gpu will line up and removed those panels for the monitor slots first then fit the mobo it will insure nothing gets in the way when removing.

Got this motherboard to pair with a Ryzen 3600 and the process was relatively easy. This is one of the B450s that allows USB bios flash, so you don't need an existing am4 CPU in order to update to a BIOS version that supports the 3000 series processors. I used an old 4gb flash drive formatted as fat32 and the update went smoothly, despite being a bit scary at the time.The actual build was very easy - the layout is understandable and the included backplate fit my Meshify C perfectly.The XMP RAM profile bumped up my Corsair 3200 ram to the advertised speed with no problems.One small issue is that post times (before the bios splash screen) is longer than I'd like,

Built two systems with this board now, just finsihed building a 3700X system for a friend and one for myself on RYZEN 3600 launch day had some minor issues on the original BIOS versions with the pc not posting occasionally, but since V18 everything has been fine and this board is now at V21 effectively (named 1B) so should drop in no worries, looks like RYZEN 4000 chips may well be supported in future as AMD has done an excellent job supporting one socket over 4 generations of chips, making upgrade paths excellent, generally not got any gripes with the board at this stage yes the teething problems on launch but this wasnt limited to this board or even MSI as a manufacturer,

This was my first PC build which I did last Christmas, the system has performed very solidly and has a really straightforward BIOS that you don't get lost in unlike old text based one's that I'm used to. I just managed to fit this in a mid-tower Corsair case but for the amount of fan connectors and add-ins, like the extra SATA cables and M.2 heatsink that come with it, I am very pleased. Be aware that only the top M.2 slot is compatible with SATA M.2 drives and both slots will require giving up ports on the motherboard (for slot 1 - the last two SATA ports, for slot 2 - all non 16x PCI-e lanes ).

The b450 gaming pro carbon from MSI is, without a doubt, the best motherboard with the b450 chipset. I didn't want to expend more than 150 in a MB, and wasn't too interested in PCIE 4.0, at least, for the moment. So I looked for a good B450 board.This one has everything I need:-Decent VRM so I can overclock the cpu.-WiFi in case I need it.-BIOS flashback button (Very important) so I could connect my ryzen 3rd gen cpu without needing an old one to update the MB.-Nice audio chip.Definitely it was a good purchase. It's a little more expensive than the other b450 MB, but worth it.

Impressive motherboard, fitted with a Ryzen5 processor and one of the new GTX 1660 TI graphics cards this is the Bees Knees!!! It's quick and gaming is a dream! Doesn't just perform great it looks great too the mystic light sync makes you want to add new fans and light strips, the sound card is very impressive and brings alive my 5.1 sound even though it has 7.1 capability. The apps bring it's capabilities alive, overclocking is fool proof, you can't get a better motherboard in this price range, simply the best!!!!

i bought this about 8 months ago now and have swapped the processor out twice, graphics card twice and even tried the on board graphics. do not have any faults for this at all. feels really robust, well built and even has 2 x m.2 pcie slots which is amazing, use one for system and one for games that require fast loading speeds. even told my friend to buy one when he was wanting an upgrade cause he was still on am3+ and wanted something reliable when moving to ryzen.

This motherboard is perfect. It is my first time building a computer and had no issues thanks to this motherboard, amazing wi-fi that was instantly enabled without installing drivers, the motherboard was ryzen 3000 ready; I didn't have to go through a bios update (it arrived with a ryzen 3000 ready sticker). The motherboard is durable beyond belief and I'm shocked It didn't break after everything I put it through. Amazing motherboard, definitely recommend.

Bought this motherboard for use with an AMD Ryzen 5 3600. I knew I had to update the bios to the latest revision to boot, so I got this motherboard for its Bios Flash capabilities. Worked perfectly first time (though I forgot to update before this silly me).Wifi works really well, bios is self-explanatory and well laid out, and temps have been absolutely fine.Looking forward to trying a Ryzen 9 3950X on this board around Christmas time!

First time builder and this was a great board to start with. Plenty of flexibility all round (e.g 6 sata ports and also 2 m.2), and while this could be confusing the manual contains guide to all the sockets/ports, with locations indicated. And it's a popular board, meaning there's plenty of help online if something does go wrong. Nice bios too, and the WiFi also worked straight away with Windows, making everything a little easier.

Selected this motherboard for my first pc build and am so glad I did! Everything went together so easily and was so simple to set up once running. The WiFi has been faultless since the first install of Windows it connected to my router and I was on the net! The Bluetooth is also very good enabling me to use my xbox one controller with my pc faultlessly. Overall a great buy for the features I feel.

I use this for gaming really good getting drivers was a pain as I don’t have cd drive but everything else amazing WiFi I have had upto 229 mbps download speed also have a app on my phone to change the leds in the pc loads of settings just the right amount of lights not too many so it looks like a Christmas tree just enough to show the carbon fibre effect
