Not a first-time purchase as black and blue ones for Parker and a couple of other brands were previously purchased for the relevant pens. While considerably less expensive than the respective original products, colour and performance are comparable and functionality of their respective mechanisms for extension and retraction continued to function to the original level. Monteverde is a respected European/US brand whose writing implements are especially well-regarded. As, in this instance, a single Parker refill will cost more than two from Monteverde it may be a no-brainer for those who don't wish to use the branded originals.There is a small blob of wax or plastic over the ball-tip which is easily removed and essential before first use.Monteverde also produce excellent fountain pens,

I was looking for a green refill for quite some time and as Parker no longer make these, this seemed like the best alternative. So far so good, seems to last a long time as I've been using this daily for weeks now. Writes smoothly no ink blobs. However, I would have preferred for the colour to have been a bit darker as I sometimes have to press harder to ensure good contrast.Another issue I found was that although works fine with my jotter pens, it is not a perfect fit like the originals. Even when retracted, it is not completely inside the pen.Overall, a great purchase and if the fitting was fine I would have given it 5*.

I bought a 2 pack of these a little while back and was rather hesitant to buy because there were reviews complaining that the colour was not purple. I can only speak as I find but the refill I'm using is definitely Purple it is neither blue nor red but as some reviews suggest but purple. I shall buy this product again as long as the life is reasonable which is why I have been rather mean and only given it 4 stars.

I have finally found a Parker pen refill that is actually a true purple.I have tried others but they have all been blue not purple, this is a true purple. The medium nib gives a good ink flow, and it isn't scratchy. I am so happy.I wish the price was a little more budget friendly but as long as it lasts as long as other refills I can justify it.Thank you Monteverde for making this lady's heart happy.

I wasnt sure what this refill would be like as I've tries other generic ones that havent been nice to write with. I neednt have worries as this is smooth and looks even on the paper. It is a nice colour although a lighter purple than the branded refill I was replacing. I think I prefer it though and would definitely biy again. Next time I need a refill I will check this brand out again.

Was a little worried about buying a product that wasn't from Parker and by a company I hadn't heard of, but I needed the green colour and couldn't find anything from Parker. Good ink delivery, though it can get a little splotchy if used constantly for long periods (i.e. several hours). It does the job, and I'd buy again from them if I needed an unusual colour.

The price is good and the ink colour is great. I really wanted a green refill for my jotter and still can't understand why it is not possible to get a 'Parker' one. I have only just received these refills, so cannot comment on how long the ink lasts, however, first impressions are very good!

Been looking for this item for months, only came across it on Amazon when I was looking for something else. Ordinary ball point pens are good for every day use, but these are wanted for a job which is "just that bit special" Very please and happy with both the product and the delivery.

I was a little dubious about buying a non-Parker refill but really wanted a nice purple for crafting, I am pleasantly surprised. The refill fits my pen perfectly and it's really smooth to write with. It's a beautiful light purple colour and I'm really pleased.

Green ink is a rarity however reviewing reports this is ideal as it is a neutral colour. Cheap at the price and works well in the parker pens I have. They are not Parker made but a better than cheap imitation and for the price am not complaining.

I bought these and unlike the other reviewers here have found them to be a lovely shade of purple! not blue at all!! I wonder if there was a mislabelled batch that went out previously?the ink flows nicely and they are easy to write with

Arrived very promptly ordered sunday night here for Tuesday! Used it today at work no unevenness at all. writes lovely, slightly lighter than what Is have liked but does the job.Using it in my parker jotter. So far so good.

Medium fine. Smooth for writing with no breaks in ink flow. Good durability and longevity. Really nice shade of purple too (many either too bombastic or too close to blue). Very happy and fits great in my parker.

I only bought this refill, because Parker no longer make a purple refill, as they used to in the past. Probably not quite as good as the originals, but not at all bad. I certainly was not disappointed with them.

I tried green, black, purple and turquies so far,...I like greens very very much, I will definitely come back and get more. But others are not that good. Monteverde need to keep quality at a consistant level.
