This was purchased as a gift for my son and there was a substantial eduction of £70 (approx) compared to MontBlanc outlets. However, this is a luxury item and needs to be guaranteed as such. The booklet that came with it was not stamped with the purchase details that are required to ensure your guarantee is covered. Also MontBlanc offer a free of charge nib change within six weeks of purchase and only as a gesture of goodwill accepted the pen for such along with the Amazon invoice. Apparently there is some ongoing dispute between Amazon and MontBlanc as the latter do not want their product undercut and sold this way.

This was a gift for my partner for his 50st Birthday, he loves it. The customer service and delievery all perfect.
