After reading previous reviews about this software I considered not buying it, how pleased I am that I ignored them and bought it anyway !!!!!My son is well impressed with the game. If you just want to relax and can't be bothered to get out the board then this is fine. Obviously, if you are looking for high-flying tycoon game then this is not it. This item has some scathing reviews which i feel are unjustified.In short, I am pleased with the product, and it saves me having to sit with my son with all the bits and pieces spread all over the living room (most of which end up in the hoover !!!)

I know it is a classic game, but I loved playing this on my old XP desktop. Unfortunately the old version I have doesn't work with Windows 7. This updated version does, even if it come up with an error.I haven't searched for a fix yet, but I have been happily playing Monopoly once more.For those interested it supports playing over a LAN. This enables a little more fun for two or more humans. I haven't checked out to see if the Games Spy add-on is still supported, but there are some sites which now offer free gaming over the Internet. This CD isn't required for those site.

I found this game to be very good indeed, the tokens are interestingly voice, and they are animated as they move around the board.I think that it is great, dispite all of the previous reviews, I think you should deffiantly buy this game.A draw back may be that it can look a bit dull without a decent graphics card, since my laptop was unable to run the animations, but the PC I'm on atm works fine!A modern remake of the classic game, including european game boards, including British, it wouldn't be monopoly without it.Highly recommendable.

The game on PC is much faster with no messy money. The fun sounds are also constantly keeping you entertained with a pun on every roll. For some reason 7 is lucky.The maths is all done by a big computer brain however this brain gets confused with morgages - its just like the banks. Otherwise all you need is a mouse. It works on most Vista systems too.Amazon is also the last place you can buy the proper, non pirate game as Game stopped selling them. And remember - you can choose to use Euros on the New Edition just in-case in 5 years time.

I realy enjoy playing monopoly but i recently purchased a 256mb graphics card and every time i start monopoly the graphics crash the system!!! not happy about that at all but when i was able to play it, i enjoyed every minute of it.

It was dispatched quickly, and was new (bought one from shop and found it was 2nd hand and also junior version in box) plays well on windows 7 (which isnt including on formats) good fun and nice graphics.

Great game for any other operating system other than Windows 7, although informed that this would work perfectly on Windows 7, game did not load properly, but when loaded on XP game was great!!

This item turned up on time it works fine in spite of the fact that I had not read properly what requirements were needed on my computer and I would use this merchandiser again.

As a MASSIVE monopoly fan I play this everyday its amazing and keeps me busyI own a lot of monopoly sets but this simple pc game is great for if you want to play on your own

A great game. The original monopoly at the maximum !!! All features of monopoly is there, it released your tension easily !!! I have fun everytime playing it.

A new fun version of monopoly with sound effects. An enjoyable game, and I do recommend this version. You can play at various levels too.

I'm well happy with my game, and the whole family plays it sometimes for hours at a time. Well worth the price i paid.

Fantastic game which my friend and grandson enjoy playing together. You can also play alone for hours of fun.
