The package comes bubble-wrapped, as you'd hope with all this glass inside. On taking out the glasses, the first thing you notice is that the base is relatively heavy, as this is inch thick solid glass . Given how tall and narrow the glasses are, this is a good thing, as it makes them a bit more stable.The glasses themselves are very simple, but elegant with it. The bottom part has an unusual but pleasant ring-effect illusion, probably caused by reflections from the solid base. No big deal, but a minor talking point for about 5 seconds, making them just that little bit more interesting than a cheaper glass.The jug is just like a huge glass, but with a spout, making it look like you have a coordinated drinks set,

Very well made with a nice ergonomic handle that is well balanced and makes pouring easy.The weight of the jug is perfect it’s not to heavy to pass around a busy dinning table . We use it on a daily basis and it sturdy enough for the daily dishwashing machine pounding and the rushed unload/ load process along side all the other pots .Good height as shown on photo , along side a standard 2ltr milk container with a low wide base makes it sit solid on the table.Holds a surprisingly large volume and the ice stays in the jug with the water or in the summer would be lovely filled with Pimms and fruit will remain in jug to the end !Spent ages looking for this design ,

Definitely a glasses set to be pulled out when you want to impress.Immediately, these glasses and matching jug/stirrer look the part in quite a nice box. The items themselves are weighty, with a thick hand-turned base to minimise any toppling from bumps to a table etc. The same goes for the jug. Hand-crafting glass rather than automated pressings can leave a number of quite pleasing artefacts such as the turning rings others have also noticed.What does concern me is the jug. No handle, so cold contents with ice might end up with a messy and expensive fumble. This seems where style over substance hasn't quite worked for me, but others may disagree.It's certainly an impressive set to use on those summer days and nights,

I bought this jug as I had stupidly put too much boiling water out of an ern in a similar jug and it cracked above the top of the handle when I put cold water in it! This Jug arrived the same day I ordered it as my wife was upset about my mistake,. This got me out of trouble. She wanted it to be stylish like the previous one before I cracked it, which she thought I'd have difficulty finding.Very impressed, fast delivery and the jug is stylish heavy and sturdy. More importantly my wife and 20 year old kids love it too! Hope to get many years use out of this, well done Amazon for coming to the rescue.

Beautifully crafted jug but a little smaller than I expected. Almost two litre capacity sounded like a lot! I got it for water but also an occasional sangria in the sun for guests. Definitely fine for water but would have been better going slightly bigger if using for sangria or other cocktails, especially if you will be expecting a large gathering (more than 2-3 people). Nonetheless it is a lovely jug

This is a set of four regular sized glasses and one large pitcher-sized class with a glass wand for stirring. Very high quality product, the glasses have a nice weight to them at the bottom and have an elegant look to them. They're hand made and very pleasant to hold. The pitcher glass has a small spout for pouring too. A great set of glasses!

I took quite a while to choose a water jug and I am delighted with my choice. I had a cheap one from a supermarket but decided I needed a smarter one for when we have guests or dinner parties . This is very good quality, sturdy and a lovely shape. I would definitely recommend it.

Gorgeous classy and well madeIf filled can be slightly heavy for first few pours so if you have weak wrists (for example elderly) this may be a bit too big for youBut generally this is gorgeous I ended up buying a second so now I have 2

Absolutely love this jug. Had a lovely glass jug that my partner smashed and didn't think i'd find another one i loved as much, I was wrong. Good sized, elegant looking glass jug. Perfect for lovely summer drinks.

Arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. The glass is fairly thick and there's a definite weight to it even when empty. Quite intrigued by the spout design as it pours very well. Really pleased with it.

I bought it as a replacement for my old one and all my guests loved me. It’s just a perfect jug: looks gorgeous, easy to handle, nice glass. And I love it’s form: simple and elegant.

Great jug -deceptively large which was perfect for me.I do think the price is quite high, which is why only 4 stars, but a lovely jug.
