Super little covered jug that I bought and use solely to store cream in the fridge, but is probably quite versatile for other uses. Supermarket cream cartons are flimsy, unstable because wider at the top than the base, and rarely seem to have a clip-fitted plastic lid any more, so I decided to get this for safer and more convenient storage, and it works a treat. It will easily hold 2 x 300ml pots of double cream. Glass body of the jug is weighty enough to have the stability needed, has an easy-grip handle suitable for people with reduced dexterity, and the plastic lid is a simple push-fit. The rectangular profile is more suitable for fridge storage than a rounded one. I have not yet tried it in the dishwasher,

Some reviews appeared to have negative comments on the lid. Either it has been re designed or they did not use it properly. The lid could not be bettered for purpose and the glass is satisfyingly thick and reminds me of when things were made with pride.We have our milk delivered and milk bottles drip, leave ring marks and the bottle tops are messy and unhygenic when in use,This beauty of a jug gets around all those issues plus it can be put on the breakfast table with ornamental rather than tatty effect.And if further proof of its excellence was needed my missus didn't demand I send it back. I rest my case.

Bought the 500ml jug for 2 year old. It’s made of glass so not easy to knock over.It was bought to give our child some independence as we introduced more of a Montessori lifestyle and that’s exactly what it has done.Easy to clean, perfect size for children.Looks lovleyIt’s been dropped once and didn’t crack or break.Would a absolutely buy again.*EDIT*18th Jan 2019Needed to update that this jug has been used every single day from date of purchase 10th April 2018. Been washed and dropped on hard flooring and carpet too many times to count and is still completely solid, no need to but again ?

I have 2 of these for about a year already. They are great. good size, fits fridge doors well. Use them regularly with my juicer. The only small downside is a lid design:- it has many small corners, and small sections which are a bit awkward to clean, dishwasher alone does not clean them very well, need to use a brush before putting to dishwasher in order to get the most dirt from those awkward places under the lid.- also liquids might spill a little even with closed lid when jug is tilted.

No problems with the jug. It serves well.I use it for coconut milk (fatty liquid).There are only two small drawbacks but they aren't significant enough to rate it less than excellent.One drawback is the top. It is a bit too narrow for my hand to get in to clean it.The other drawback is that the ribs around the main body of the jug are also present on the inside walls. Which again makes cleaning a bit awkward.I think the ribs on the walls make the jug sturdier.

The jug is a perfect size for my needs. If you are looking for a large jug for parties etc then this is not for you. It is an ideal size to put in your fridge. I use it for my nearly 3 year old to learn how to pour his own drink without spilling. The jug is a bit heavy for him if filled to the top but this is obviously easily fixed by not filling it to the top. It does come with a lid which is again useful. The jug itself is sturdy and robust.

i bought this for an elderly friend. We are really pleased with it because it pours really well, has a comfortable handle that allows you to pour accurately and has a nice narrow pouring lip that allows you to pour just a small amount of milk into a cup. It fits in fridge door easily and my elderly friend is able to get the lid off easily for refilling it every few days. The lid doesn't fall off when you pour it either. Its a nice quality too.

I had looked everywhere to find a glass jug with a lid to keep beside my bed at night, then I thought to look on Amazon. Bingo, there was a range of various sizes - just what I wanted. It's a neat little jug. Only drawback, I have discovered the hard way that you can manage to soak yourself with water if you try to pour too quickly with the lid on, but apart from that it's just what I wanted.Good product, good price, fast delivery.

I recently bought two of these 500ml jugs. We’ve just started having a milk delivery again and I was concerned about dropping a milk bottle. The jugs are brilliant - they take a pint of milk comfortably, they fit in the fridge door, they are sturdy, the lids fit snugly, and both jug and lid clean up beautifully in the dishwasher. I would be lost without them, and would thoroughly recommend to anybody who has similar need.

I've used these before and was more than happy to purchase a new jug after I broke the previous one. They're great for storing milk in the fridge but I can still only give it four stars as, like many other postings, it dribbles whilst using the pouring lid; my husband's mastered the art but, unfortunately for me, I still have to remove the lid first otherwise it's not just my breakfast cereal covered in milk!!

My wife has difficulty using 4 pint milk containers, so we decant the milk into several of these, which are light enough to handle.They are square, so they fit together in the ‘frig’ without wasting shelf space.They are glass, so they are transparent and easy to clean.Some comments have said that the lids break.They are a bit ‘cheap’ and ‘plastic’ but we’re careful and haven’t broken any yet.

Always have the habit of keeping a large glass of water on my bedside table at night. Not so safe after my sons knocked it over a few times and water went everywhere. Decided to get something with a lid but not so big so that I refill fresh water everyday. Now I keep a low glass and this jug beside my bed. Much safter option. I have no problem pouring water from it. Very happy with this product.

I needed a small water jug to teach my daughters (5&7) to pour water for themselves at the table. This is the perfect size. It is pleasantly chunky and yet holds enough water to serve a table of 4 at the dinner table. The handle is smooth and child friendly. My girls live pouring their drinks for themselves now. And best of all, I successfully washed it in the dishwasher. Highly recommended.

The product arrived promptly. Exceedingly well packaged. Very easy to clean. I'm using these storage jugs to keep milk in the door of my fridge. On the top shelf so no need to bend down. I'm using three so I can rotate them. The neck is wide for easy cleaning. The item can be used at the table if required. I'm delighted by the quality of these "jugs". Totally satisfied!

Really pleased with this jug. I bought it to fill with water to encourage my two kids (under 8) to help themselves and it serves it's purpose well. It's small but it's just the right size for them to lift when full and allows them to refill their glasses without help from me. It's not a sealed lid but I didn't require that from it and I think the jug looks good too.
