This pack has exceeded our expectations. There were few reviews to read and not all of them glowing so it was a gamble of £20 but we would recommend to friends in an instant. At time of writing my girl is two & half and I would say she's normal height & weight. She has always been active & difficult to control when out & about. For play it's a great attitude but for shopping & walking down the street it's a non-stop worry.1. Fit. With a puffy winter jacket the pack is at it's limit but we expect to get through the winter & she'll wear it into the summer when she'll be three. The clasp over the chest is placed & secures the pack. The straps are quick & easy to adjust2. Visibility. The bright red pack is easy to pick out in a crowd. Even the yellow chest strap material is visible and a good touch3. Capacity. This can store a good number of small toddler snacks & toys. Think toys 2-3" like animals & cars & Ella's pouches, puffit's, biscottis. You're not going to get bulky items in. Set your expectation & you can snack a trip to town quite easily.4. Leash. This clips in at the top of the pack beside a good grab handle. The length seems just right as it keeps the toddler close but maintains the freedom of exploration. Other people were concerned about the strap at the top of the packs wrapping round the child's neck / head. In practice we would hold up the leash so it didn't happen & if it did our daughter soon would either duck or grab the leash & pull it out the way. You should always unclip the leash if you don't need it as it could be a choking risk but this is a parental responsibility issue. I would not use the leash to tug / drag the child as the pack may come off under stress (& sends the wrong message to the child). It is not designed for that, more that it would stop a situation from developing by allowing you time to grab them. If our daughter is misbehaving we will still hold her by the hand until she calms down, the leash is a reward not a final control.5. Reception. Our daughter loves it to bits. We're more relaxed about her actions so she's not getting a hard time for 'bad behaviour'. She enjoys having both hands free instead of holding ours. She has her own toys & snacks and will 'pack' before going out keepng her busy while we get ready to go. She seems to accept the range the leash allows & doesn't pull.I can't recommend this enough, for parents who have kids that like to explore this really is worth the gamble of £20. I would suggest going for the larger toddler backpack if your child is larger / closer to 3 but otherwise this is perfect.

I've not bought littlelife reins before but have admired the animal and plain styles from afar. I've used basic strap reins but these tempted me and I'm not disappointed by the style or quality. As a childminder half the problem is sometimes getting children to wear reins (and my own three children refused, lying down on the pavement if I dared try them) but who doesn't want to dress up as Buzz light year and zoom around! Plus the dressing up costume value without the reins is great. The straps are thick and strong and the inner compartment is surprisingly waterproof and roomy. It's hand wash only so keeping the white, white may be a problem. Inside there is a white on grey drawing of Buzz and a label for name, address and telephone number. The wings don't have anything stiff in them, just bendy material so aren't going to break off or crack. The bright green straps have pretend buttons on them.Really fun reins.

Lovely little bag with reins. Looks so cute and is very well made. Spent ages looking for something with reins to keep my adventurous 13 month old toddler close when out walking. She’s just started getting confident with running (quite fast) away when you least expect it. She now gets excited to put her little bag on and when she feels the pull at the end of the rein she stops (sometimes sits down in protest but at least she’s not squished under a car!)It’s on the small side but good for what we needed it for. On the pricey side but I think it’s well worth it! Better then a cheap one that’ll fall apart! The rein is attached at the top which is safer for the odd fall as you can slow it down a little! The bit where the parent holds feels strong and good to hold and fits around my wrist so I can hold her hand (when she feels like it of course !)Well worth the money!

Looks great. My little grandson looked happy with his little rucksack on his back. His 1st taste of freedom. Able to walk independently with effective restraint.Off we went to the shops.Up and down the aisles of the shop. He and his little rucksack were attracting lots of attention and lovely comments. All was good until we got to the toy aisle where Theo got super excited. His eyes were everywhere and he was jumping and pointing at the toys. An assistant pointed out to me that the strap was wrapped around Theos neck. I quickly sorted the issue. It must have happened whilst he was jumping around and I was firmly hold of the strap.A lovely product but again a young child with straps must besupervised and carefully watched at all times.

My youngest - 19 months old - is very active and adventurous and doesn't like to be stuck in her pram for any length of time. This is absolutely perfect for her. I can have her out the pram walking without worrying about her running off. She really loves it and will regularly grab hold of it and put it on herself.I bought it for when I went travelling to South Africa on my own with her and her 5 year old sister. My eldest walked with my little one in the airport while I pushed the luggage on the trolley. My eldest loved that she was helping me look after her baby sister and it freed me up to deal with the logistics of travellingIt was worth every penny!

Just arrived today, it looks FAB!! and so cute and little, suitable for my niece, the main thing I was wondering was where the rein sat on the backpack but it is towards the top and has a clip to take on and off, so if you really wanted to you could add it to the handle at the front so if the child turns around 1) they don't get tangled and 2) if you hold it above them they most likely won't know you have them on a rein. Love It!!

I bought this for my Nephews 3rd birthday as he owned everything else in buzz light year (he is absolutely obsessed with Buzz), he loves it and it’s perfect. I expected it to be bigger but it’s actually perfect for him. The only negative review is that the strap at the front locking in was too tight for him. There was no adjustment therefore I had to just tuck it in.

Seriously cute but also incredibly practical! We bought this for our 11 month old as we’re about to embark on a mammoth adventure to Australia - and thought we would need something like this in the airport as well as on the aeroplane - so that she can have a little mini adventure in the aisles without going too far. She loves wearing it and looks darned cute too!

Well made, beautiful bright colours. Perfect size for my 2 years old who packed lots of cars in it. Didn't choose it for the Disney character but to match the trunki tiger suitcase. Nothing except the name label inside the bag shows it's Disney, which is personally what I wanted.Just wish the lead was adjustable.Would buy again

Brill bag my nephew loves it!! Perfect for looking like a cool kid and having control of where there going!! Her carries his drink in the bag and the reign is short enough for him to be close but not too short that he doesn't like wearing it. Used it for holiday and it was a perfect little accessory

its a lovely little bag that looks great on my boy,the bag could be a little bigger because you can only just about squeeze in 1 nappy a half full pack of wipes and a small bottle, which on a quite nip put with them is fine but longer journeys make sure you bring the main changing bag lol.

We have bought this for our Grandon's first Christmas. He will be 18 months when we visit Disneyland next year so thought this would be handy with the reins. It's small but that's perfect for a little one. Room for a small water bottle, a snack box and a few other bits and pieces.

We've just started needing to use this as our toddler is now running about all over the place. The backpack is really light and easy for them to carry, and they don't mind wearing it at all. It's good for keeping a couple of toys in the keep him happy whilst out and about.

Very cute little backpack. We haven't tried it with the reins yet, but everything looks good. It's for my 18 months baby girl. The inside is just one big pocket with a Minnie name tag. I'd say there's space for a small bottle of water and some little snacks.

I love little back pack which I have bought for my nephews 2nd birthday. He is going to love it as he loves walking instead of pushchair. He can store a few toys, juice and a snack in the back pack while my sister can keep him using the reigns.
