I really like this bag and it is used every single day. It does have some negatives I am afraid which I shall mention along side the positives. It is very well made and durable. Wipes down very well with a damp cloth if needed. The external front pocket is small but has been made with some depth to it, so it gives it more space that way.The bottle pocket...argh! useless as a bottle holder I have to say and lets the bag down a lot in my view. None of our bottles fit, we have some kids camelback bottles and they are too bulky, toddler sippy cups &other toddler bottles don't fit. Baby milk bottles don't fit...however the only bottle I found fit was the kids sistema bottles & so I had to purchase a new one just for this reason. It is because the pocket is too narrow. Lassig just need to make the pocket wider. The bottom part which is perfect for a lunch box (I found the sistema flat snack box fit well). This compartment keeps food separate from clothes in case of leaks. I once had a squashed pear! However if your not carrying food then it is perfectly shaped for nappies & wipes so freeing up room in the main compartment. It also has some straps of incase you accidentally leave the pocket open. I nearly lost a lunch box and some fruit that way!The main compartment, if like me you are using this bag from 6months old, could do with being a little bigger. We carry baby wipes, creams, calpol, nappies, spare clothes etc. But if using for an older child who is out of nappies then a spare pair of clothes would fit. However shoes, wellies or an outdoor coat will not along side spares. If used as a nursery bag A4 letters will not fit in unfolded so expect your child's first pre school drawings to be folded when they get home!I am breast feeding so I don't need to fit milk bottles in, if I needed to I would struggle. However to be fair this bag is designed for a toddler probably age2 upwards, to carry on their own, so it is not a maternity bag. I just decided to use it this way as it is easier for me than to carry heavy bulky bags. It works too we take it to play groups, fit in nappies, wipes, bibs etc & spare clothes. Food and snacks in the bottom and creams in the front pocket. The straps are good if your toddler is carrying the bag on their backs as it has a chest strap to stop it slipping off. However the straps slide off my shoulder when I am carrying the bag which is hard work when I am also carrying my son, my bag and car keys in my mouth! It does have a top handle which is easier to carry by hand and the shoulder straps lengthen for an adult to place the bag on their back too which I have done on occasions I have had too much to carry.Over all the bag is great for simple needs from our sons 6months of age and he is currently 14months. He will grow into this bag and it can then be used as a nursery/preschool bag. It works for us but being an expensive bag I was disappointed with the drinks pocket and main compartment size. I like the the other touches like the pencil case size purse inside which is on a key fob to stop it falling out. A keep fob ring on the outside, a name tag too. Pull strings on the zips which is only a small touch but makes a huge difference as any parent knows trying to open a bag with one hand! So Lassig have thought of those little things...except the drinks pocket!I would recommend this bag however and I hope this helps.

I bought this backpack for my 2 year old daughter for daycare. She takes the train and bus with me 3x a week to the college and attends daycare there. My backpack was getting a little crowded with all her stuff she needs for the day. All of the other back packs looked at didn't look like they could hold much more than a diaper and a few wipes, maybe a snack and juice. I needed something that could hold her lunch, (she refuses to eat the food daycare gives her) a blanket, her stuffed animal lovey, a sippy cup, a diaper& wipes and a binky.Surprisingly I can fit all of that in this little backpack. I can put her lunch in a shallow tupperware in the bottom compartment, her sippy on the mesh side holder, her binky in the small zipper pouch in front, (and usually small snack for the train ride) I put a diaper and a few wipes (in a ziplock) on the very bottom of the large compartment, a lightweight blanket folded up on top of that, and her stuffed animal on the very top.My toddler can even wear and carry it, but not for too long when its totally packed. I love that it has a chest clip, it keeps it on her little shoulders.I also love that the shoulder straps unclip from the bottom of the straps. This is very useful when my daughter falls asleep and I need both arms to be able to hold her and get on and off the train. I can take her backpack and unclip the straps and loop them through my straps on my backpack so I can carry it without cluttering up my arms.I loved this little thing even more this last week while in disneyland. It was the perfect size for holding about 5 diapers and a travel case of wipes (bottom compartment) snacks, sunscreen, socks, change of shoes, zippy cup, and a light jacket (large compartment) and I put my phone, room key, credit card, and park ticket in the small compartment in the front. The best part was that I could unclip the straps and loop them through the handle of the stroller for easy access. Late at night when my daughter when back to the hotel with family and my husband and I stayed in the park, I kept the backpack to keep my water bottle, chapstick, phone, wallet, and my light jacket. Even thought its made for a child I could still adjust the straps all the way and wear it myself. I could even comfortably clasp the chest clip above my bust. This thing isn't a toy like others you see at walmart for $9.99. Its great quality and super functional. It won't fit a full size piece of paper though so don't plan on getting this for a school backpack. They are a bit spendy, but I watched this one for a while and bought it when the price dropped to $35. I loved this purchase, and would totally recommend it.

Perfect little bag for my 3 year old daughter. Size is spot on. All straps are adjustable and she’s able to carry snacks, a change of clothes and a few little toys and a small sketch book plus her drinks bottle on the side in the holster. Really like the little reflector details on the shoulder straps. Colour combination is great too, she wanted a blue bag and this one is blue without being overly ‘boyish’. Feels of high quality, even the lining is super! The chest strap keeps it secure when she’s riding around on her scooter and I use the grab handle of the bag to help guide her when crossing the street etc. Highly recommend this little bag for nursery kids.

Nice compact little backpack for my 1yr olds Nursey bag, or a day trip out. I can get 5 nappies, pack of wipes, mini bottle of bum cream, teething gel, eczema cream, red book, comfort square, hat and an extra change of clothes..and water bottle with the pouch on the side. Its not spacious enough that i can get all that and his lunch/bottles in there, so i bought a lunch box and hook it on with a carabiner.I LOVE the fox design and honestly its so colourful, beautifully designed, and decently put together it was worth the price even tho its a bit small for someone like me who packs everything including the kitchen sink.

I needed a new bag to replace my massive change bag that I was sick of carting about. I thought this might be a bit small but it's soooo deceiving! It has everything my 7§month old needs. In the bottom section vest and sleepsuit, 3 Nappies and a normal size pack of Wipes. In the front all the creams and lotions, antibac, teething gel, my chewing gum, hair bobbles, Nappy bags etc. Plenty of space! Inside it comes with a pouch that I'm using for money, and I have a toy and muslin with space for either a play or change mat. Sippy cup at the side too. Love it, 100% would recommend

This backpack is darling! I bought it for my daughter for preschool, but it turns out she actually needed a regular sized backpack (which I never did purchase, I am just waiting until the next school year to do so). If you get a piece of paper and fold it in half (hamburger style) turning it like a book...that's about the heigth of things that will fit in it. Pretty spacious for a mini backpack, love the colors and design, she was complimented all the time on her backpack. She now uses it as a play backpack, and I figure it'd be good to store snacks and toys while camping.

Everyone keeps complimenting my daughter about this bag, it looks so cute! But it is also sturdy and very well designed. The lunch box pocket underneath is so handy for a small sandwich box and the bottle pocket on the side leaves the entire main pocket for a cardigan or books or whatever the kid decided is absolutely essential for them to bring along that day (in our case a plastic unicorn!). The detachable lead is great for those toddlers/preschoolers who just love a bit more independence (i.e no hand holding necessary). All in all a great little bag.

I have not much to complain about. Sturdy little backpack that my pre-schooler can carry himself (if he can be bothered, that is) thanks to the adjustable straps. Handy little bottom compartment for nappies and wipes and another great little snap on thingy that fits crayons or small toys. The bottle compartment on the side is rather small and didn't fit the bottles we have, but still handy to carry a hat or dummy. I would buy it again.

Good size for toddler. I bought this backpack for my 21 month old daughter. Her size is 50 percentile and she likes to carry it on her back. It is bigger a little for her now but it works. We are going to to use it for flight trip and I think it is good size to bring diapers and snacks. The color of white part on the picture is different from the one I received. It looks light blue green but I like this color and very cute.

This is an excellent product, perfect size for a small child, lovely small backpack with lots of pockets and a base compartment to put things in, big enough for a small lunchbox and water bottle and a few books and pens. Bought the blue one now for my son and will definitely buy other products in the range. Have 3 Lassig change bags (2 Green Neckline and one Manbag type) and they are excellent.

Fantastic little bag, I use it for my son at nursery. Fits everything I need in there for the day! Lunch box, bottle, a couple of change of clothes, wipes, etc. Great size for him to carry to. Handy chest strap to keep it in place. Highly recommended. Get lots of comments when out and about with it.

Excellent little bag. Holds everything my daughter needs -nappies, wipes, change of clothes, snacks and a toy. Only small criticism is the cup holder on the side could be a little bigger. Apart from that it's perfect.

Chest strap makes all the difference and I no longer carry anything other than my own bag - result! Little one feels independent and adores all of the compartments including the purse on a clip inside

I just love this backpack ❤️ perfect size for a toddler (although I use it sometimes too ?), enough but not too many pockets, so easy to empty/clean. So we'll made, great quality

Bought for my 12 month old when he starts nursery. Good size for all his bits. It's small enough that he can wear it, though only just. Probably more suited to 18-24months.
