This fragrance is divine. On opening the bottle you get an instant smell of rose before you spray. I couldn't wait to try it.The fragrance is intoxicating, its fresh, sensual, uplifting, strong and empowering you feel like you can take on the world and shine.After the initial scent of rose, You then are taken to a dream world with the Jasmine absolute, this compliments the rose so well. The Chypre enhanced with musk gives the strong hold to the fragrance. They compliment each other so well, not one overpowers the other.The fragrance lasts all day, its so long lasting being an eau de parfum so less is definetly more, but you just can't help but waft yourself in its fragrance.

La vie est belle perfume has been my long time favourite perfume, having worn this is my regular perfume for many years and was so looking forward to trying this new Idole scent from Lancome. I have been so very pleasantly surprised with this new stunning scent - will definitely be a new favourite scent for me. Idole is a warm, fun, fresh floral fragrance, has a strong statement of femininity, sensual, without being heavy, is clean, comfortable, so perfect for summer. It has great longevity, a little goes a long way, stayed on the skin all day. A sweet floral that combines jasmine & rose notes. Received so many compliments, people asking what perfume I had on.

Firstly the packaging is very slim easy to pack for holidays etc understated elegance. Next the perfume container itself. Totally different to the usual shaped perfume bottles, lightweight slim refillable according to the packaging which is fab. The bottle is comfortable to hold and because of it's flatness perfect for a purse or bag. Now the actual perfume oh wow instantly you apply it the aroma is sensual fragrance but certainly not heavy. I wore this whilst visiting my sister who thinks Chanel is the only perfume you should wear that was until she asked me what the perfume I was wearing. I had the bottle on me and to she is was converted is a bit of an understatement so much so she has wowed and talked about it for days.

I am in love with this perfume!The scent is exactly how I’d imagined it- it smells delicate and floral, but is most definitely not too strong or sickly. I can spray this in the morning and the smell does last a considerably long time, but does not seem to overpowering. I would say the Rose scent definitely comes through the most, but the Jasmine and White Chypre notes are still in there. The bottle does seem a funny shape/size at first, and perhaps isn’t the most comfortable of perfume bottles to hold, but actually is pretty handy when it comes to slipping it into a handbag or purse- as it is long and flat. The only thing about this is it can’t actually stand up on a dresser, and instead needs to lie flat,

I was asked to preview this perfume which, having rose as a base, is not my usual sort of fragrance but actually I liked it a lot. The Rose has deep mature tones and is well balanced by the Jasmine and White Cyprus and I sensed musk in there too making the fragrance very pleasing. The packaging is also really nice. The bottle which is slim and made simply of clear glass with a very fine, almost undetectable, plastic tube, is reminiscent of a Baccarat or Lalique perfume bottle and has a gold T-shaped spray button. Lancôme says the perfume is directed towards “A new generation of conquering women. Strong, empowered and outspoken.” I’d say I’d be pleased to join that group of women and would also happily wear L’Idole,

Lancome always do beautiful perfumes, my own regular perfume being Le Vie Est Belle. Well sorry old favourite but I'm replacing you with this absolute gem! I've worn it everyday for the past week and EVERYBODY has commented on how gorgeous it. The bottle it's self is different and was a welcoming suprise, a flat bottle. Unbelievably elegant and looks a dream in the bathroom. A modern twist on the usually maturer lady associated smell of roses and Jasmine flower brings a clean yet smooth sharpness. It's distinctive but soft. I have informed my other half of my new fragrance for future birthday, Christmas gifts. I've given my friends the name as they were desperate to know what it was.

I do not like floral fragrances which are too ''heavy'' as I tend to get headaches so I was a bit worried how I would ''manage'' the new Idole fragrance. At first the perfume is quite strong; I noticed the jasmine notes first. The rose notes are perhaps dominant but not overpowering. The scent reminds me of Miss Dior 2017 for some reason. The dry down of this fragrance is lovely, I smell vanilla more than anything else and it gives me this warm, cosy feeling. I could still sort of detect it on my skin after 5 hours but I feel longevity could be a bit better. Lastly, the bottle design is original, it is sleek, elegant, original, but every time I pick it up I am scared I am going to drop it as it feels strange to have such a thin bottle in my hands.

I'm often not a fan of overly floral or overly pungent perfumes, and yet this one treads a careful and elegant line in to subtle but unique territory.From the description I wasn't sure how I would feel about this one (-jasmine in particular is a scent that I love on it's own but find too dominating to wear) and yet I find myself coming back to it again and again!The floral notes are so well blended that the perfume takes on a character all of its own and becomes more of a sexy, gently charismatic and intriguing atmosphere.As the scent wore throughout the day, I was left with a lingering and subtle warmth that left me wanting more. This is a scent that could be worn day or night to exude a mysterious sense of feminine confidence and chic.

This fragrance is absolutely amazing! I love perfumes alot and I must have about 12 different ones most of them smell really good but what we all want also is that beautiful smell to last for hours and hours and most of them won’t unfortunately. This fragrance is exactly the opposite, my colleagues in work asked what was it and my partner couldn’t stop saying that I smelled so good for the hole day ! Busted my mood and my happiness . The flower smells are very present which I adore ! The shape of the bottle is unusual as I never seen nothing like it ! Very nice ! Im sure every one would love a bottle like this next to there dressing table. I love mine , and is refillable!!

Wow wow wow. After opening the box I was so pleased to read that the perfume was refillable; what a fab idea. The bottle itself is elegant, very classy and draws attention.The perfume I must admit I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it is lovely. I have to admit that if someone asked me last year if I like Rose scented products I would have said no, but I find myself liking them more and more. It is very different and not similar to any other product I have smelt before, it’s very fresh and feminine and I love it! Definitely recommend it to anyone as it is so fresh and every time I wear it I smell something different so it would suit different tastes.

When I read Rose and Jasmine, I thought "oh no, flowery" but the chypre offsets this and creates a totally gorgeous scent - feminine but not at all overpowering sickly flowers (which as you may have gathered is not me at all!) A very modern fragrance that is unlike any other so you have to smell it for yourself - I cant suggest what it's might remind you of. The refillable bottle is a work of art - it looks beautiful on my dressing table and is so flat that if has very nearly travelled out of my bedroom in my daughters jeans pocket on several occasions .... a perfume for all generations then. First impression is wow what an amazing bottle. It’s about the same size as in iPhone. And looks so sleek. Sits very nice in your hand and should easily fit in any clutch bag. The scent is very fresh and floral. Yet not too heavy so can easily be worn day or night. The first thing you notice when you spray is the smell of roses but after a few minutes once the scent has settled you can notice the other jasmine notes. But my absolute favourite part about this perfume, it’s refillable. Hooray, smells great, will fit in your clutch bag and eco friendly too. What more could you want! This is the 4th Lancôme perfume that I have tried and yet again I was not disappointed in the slightest. The smell is amazing, very feminine and the type of smell that can be worn in summer, spring or winter there doesn't appear to be like a bouncy floral summery smell or a dusky, spicy winter smell. The smell last for hours, I only reapplied it once but I'd worn it since 7.30am and reapplied it at 8pm. The only criticism is is because the bottle can't stand up and you have to lay it flat although it is refillable so that's a bonus for the environment. First of all,I’m impressed with the sleekness and how stunningly slim the bottle it. It looks posh and par excellence! The initial expectations were that it would be floral but it starts off with a pearish scent which in a couple of moments settle down into a fruity citrus scent. I’m impressed with how beautifully the smell settles down and the perfume itself is long-lasting and very feminine. In my view,it is perfect for younger girls and perfect for occasions like prom. This is going to be my new signature scent. I have always loved lancome perfumes. Idole’s scent is very feminine and floral. I absolutely loved the bottle, it’s refillable however at first I thought it may not stand up but it did and looks gorgeous on my dressing table. I have already had so many compliments regarding the scent and it does last the day in the office. Definitely going to stick with it until found a better scent.
