Per the title, this is a perfect fit for the LAMY Studio founatin pen. It pushes solidly into the bottom of the pen and uses a screw-plunger - rather than a push-plunger - system to draw ink up from an ink bottle. Personally, I favour the push-plunger system as it's faster and to me feels better (this one is a bit clunky to use), but this type tends to hold more ink. This converter also leaves out the ball bearing agitator that some (even cheap convertes) use, and I do miss that as it keeps the ink from sticking inside. All-told, it's a fair converter but it does seem like they scrimped a bit when designing it.

Fits perfectly, and does exactly what it's supposed to.It's just a shame about the design: I guess it's an acquired taste, and probably popular with dedicated Lamy fans, but for me, the angular mechanism feels like it was designed by none other than Satan himself.Rather than rolling smoothly between your finger and thumb as you fill it up with ink, it goes clunk, clunk, clunk, clunk, clunk, clunk...Satan designed it, it's certain. You won't change my mind ;)

Make sure you get the right convertor for your pen. This one fits my Lamy Vista perfectly and does not leak. As I have the transparent colour pen, it's nice to be able to see the ink colour as well. I have two other pens with this convertor in and they are still functioning well a year or so on.

If you ever use bottled ink or just give up on cartridges, a converter can be a life saver, meaning you can use your bottled inks so you can refill and be cost effective and also change colours constantly.

Easy to pick up the ink without making a mess, a perfect fit for my Lamy pen. I love the fact I no longer have to spend money on ink cartridges. My only problem is that I didn't get one sooner.

This is a cracking little bit of kit. I bought this mainly to move a way from plastic refills and so far its great. Simple and easy to use and should last a long time. Great purchase.

Works as expected. Fits snugly into the pen, and the twisting mechanism is smooth and consistent. This and a bottle of nice ink will always be superior to cartridges.

Perfect for my new Lamy pen, so that I can use bottled ink, rather than cartridges, Delivered well packed, two days early, What more could I ask?

I prefer this to cartridges as I have noticed that some cartridges may leak. This fits the fountain pen perfectly and it does the job

I ordered the wrong one by mistake, so had to buy this one. Its great, saves loads on Lamy ink refills.
