Bought for a Lamy Vista - Perfect fitDidn’t arrive in a blister pack but is stamped with Lamy and EFBlack in colourEasy to remove my “fine” nib and replace with the EF nib - you literally just have to (gently ) pull one off and slide the other on. Lots of videos on you tube of how to do it if you get stuck. (Tip - do it somewhere where it is safe to spill ink, for example the kitchen sink)I found a definite difference in line width between my fine and this new extra fine as can be seen in the photo.All nibs/ ink feathered slightly in the width test but that’s due to the (non wood based) paper I used, not the nib itself. On the TR paper In my journal it writes perfectly.At first after fitting the pen wouldn’t write,

I have recently started to use bottle ink rather than a cartridge. I found that with the medium nib on the pen and using bottle ink the writing line was quite wide compared to cartridge ink. I purchased this fine nib to see if this produced a neater writing line. The nib was easy to change. It was a case of gently pulling out and then slipping the new nib on. I am really pleased with this.

these nibs have been great for my dislexit grandson In the past packaging was not a problem but this time it was flimsy and the fist nib was slightly damaged but like most children do the packaging was thrown away so another nib was ordered and arrived in tack. We have found these nibs great for our grandson who has problems with his writing .

This was well worth swapping onto my All-Star. It produces a fine fast smooth line, perfect for notes in a small notebook. A nib which is a joy to use.The nibs are easy to swap - use scotch tape to grip and slide the nib off the pen. (Scotch tape seems to grip better than other brands for this job)

This is an extra fine Lamy nib and if you have a Lamy pen already you know what it will do. You may wonder if it is easy to install. It is. The old nib slides off (you can do it with your fingers or the edge of a ruler) and the new one slides on. Its great that these are so readily available.

Good build quality and easy to replace. However, if you looking for a really fine nib then this ain't it chief. It lacks that precision and lets too much ink through. But, if you are looking for fine /medium size then this nib will do just fine....sorry.

Top product for the price - Lamy is the best of the reasonably priced fountain pens and the nib system makes it easy to swap out. The EF nib is almost perfect for my writing style.

You should know that LAMY grades are one step thicker than usual. So this EF is actually similar to what other brands have as Fine. Other than this quirk, this is a great Fine nib.

These nibs in extra fine size meshes well with my hand writing and has yet again improved the quality and legibility of my hand writing.

I got a lamy pen as a gift and i have never use any other pen since. I change the medium nib for extra fine and is even better!
