There are many blue inks to use so what makes this special? Sadly its not the ink. It is rather a pale blue that you wont get much shading from, it is a fairly dry ink so needs to be used in a wet pen especially if you want to see any shading and has no resistance to water or light but it does have very low feathering, I would imagine you would need terrible paper for any feathering to happen and I have never seen bleed or showthrough with this ink and finally for, it is easy to wash off your hands. So what can you take from this, its a well behaved ink but just a little boring.So why am I giving it 4 stars? The bottle! Lamy have this designed right! Sure its not as pretty as the GvFC or Iroshizuku bottles,

If you like to try new inks, this is a must have. Its bright and the crystal effect is excellent - the fun of shimmer without the constant fear of nib blockages that come with most shimmer inks (though its still good to clean your pens often).It flows well, though like all such inks, a broader nib is always better (though have used it in a Japanese F nib, and it worked well enough, though obviously you need a lot more pressure to see a lot of the shimmer effect).

I bought this for use in my nice new Lamy Vista pen along with the Z28-Z24 Ink Cartridge Convertor.This is by far the best fountain pen ink I've used - and I've tried a few, including Waterman, Parker and the over rated, expensive, Noodlers inks. This Lamy ink is better than all these.This is a beautiful colour blue. It dries quickly and is surprisingly resistant to smudging when wiped with fingers.Definitely recommend.

It's a sweet colour ink.But mind it - it's a crystal ink.It's necessary -frequently clean your fountain pen in short duration.I used it & I saw very small crystal present in nib although I clean it frequently & carefully.So I decided not to used it in any costly fountain pen.

One minor problem was the rubber seal inside the lid. I didn't expect it to be there so I had a little trouble opening the bottle the first time and spilled some of the ink.Subsequently I have been much more careful about opening the bottle.

I love this ink. It is so smooth when writing and if you get in on your fingers it’s easy to wash off

Really like the colour - a lovely rich brown. Flows nicely with the Lamy Al Star M nib I’m using.

It’s a beautiful crystal ink of a pinky red colour. Stunning to use and a good quality.
