I am very impressed by this Lacoste L.12.12 Blanc fragrance. Firstly the white classy bottle with the embroided Lacoste logo on is very stylish, and sums up what to expect with this fragrance. The design of the bottle is ideal to store in a wash bag for after the gym or to take with you on holiday as it is a simple shaped bottle that takes up hardly any room at all. Judging by the fact the aftershave resembles the white Lacoste polo shirt I was not surprised by the smell at all. Clean, fresh and pure but at the same time very masculine. I only had to apply several sprays and it lasted all day, however it is not too strong and over powering.My 2 brothers were both very impressed by the smell and it would make the perfect present as it is not too pricey! My girlfriend loved the smell. She said she would prefer me to buy this in the future rather than my usual aftershave.Another positive about the fragrance is that it is very versatile, it can be worn every day as well as being perfect for a night out. This was an aftershave that i had previously ignored - it failed the airport duty free test ( sniffing the bottle or waving a paper stick around). When first sprayed this aftershave has a very strong acidic / alcohol smell. And for this reason i discounted it as something i would not want to wear.I did however receive this as a gift and was obligated to wear it to show that i liked it4 and i really am happy that i did.The acidic smell fades very quickly ( within minutes) leaving quite an understated earthy, woody smell with a citrus/floral undertone. Its really quite pleasant and summery but still distinctly masculine.The girlfriend gave it the cuddle seal of approval and the girls in the office liked it too.My only negative to this fragrance is that it does dissipate quite quickly. If you put this on the morning you would want a dash more before going out for drinks in the evening after work for example. Its not a bad downside though - it does mean that if you have an over exuberant morning and spray too much then it will subside to appropriate levels soon enough. I didn't expect much signing up for this sample. Arrived today - it's a 50ml bottle which would probably cost around £30. (infact, £39.99 at a well known high street retailer website)Design - compact - white - stitched "crocodile" logo is stuck by adhesive onto the front of the bottle. It's a glossy white product. It looks quite classy but a little sporty at the same time. I like it. First thoughts - opening up the packaging, the box itself has a good scent, like the box has been sprayed. The box has a criss-cross design to mimic the material used to make the associated polo shirts.Smell - it takes a little getting used to at first. The scent begins strong, but mellows out quite quickly.Its a "fresh" scent. Not overpowering. Certainly something you could wear to work, or out for the evening. I guess it's a felixble kind of aftershave, unlike others.Would i buy it in a shop? Yes, i would. Definitely. I have 2 favourite smells, which incidentally just ran out - Eros by Versace, and Play by Givenchy. Lacoste L.12.12 is very different to both of those. Lacoste L.12.12 is a very sleek flagrance. To be fair, I never had a Lacoste perfume, but I sure did have trainers with the little crocodile on. Having known the quality of them, I expected the parfume to be as good. And I wasn't wrong. The box looks very classy, but yet modern, the white colour gives it a pristine look. Once you open the box, the parfume bottle looks shinny and clean. The fabric Lacoste crocodile is a very nice touch to the bottle. As soon as I sprayed it on me I noticed it's got quite a nice summerish smell, which isn't overpowering but it is fresh. It's a nice size parfume to be taking with you to freshen up if your going to the gym or just out with your friends.The smell tends to hold for quite some time, which is always nice. I had some good feedback from my wife and family. They too said that the smell is light and refreshing. I am glad I tested it, as now I know it's one to watch on the shelves of the flagrance store. After opening up the Lacoste Blanc aftershave I was impressed initially by the quality of its little white box, it didnt feel cheap but also didn't feel unnecessary, just great quality. Inside the snooth white bottle continued the minimilistic quality design so I flicked off the sturdy, well fitted cap and gave the pump a few sprays. The resulting spray was well soaced out and I felt it gave my cheeks/neck a good coverage while many others have required two or three pumps. Immediately my colleague noticed the scent and complimented that it smelt very nice, and the response was exactly the same from my wife who also said it had a very zesty lemon fragrance but certainly not overpowering.Being a 35 year old man I use similar products daily and I have to say Lacoste will go towards the top of the list and when this bottle is empty I'll certainly be picking up some more. Scent - This is a fantastic summer fragrance that isn't too over powering, light and fresh. I found the scent to last all day on me compared to other fragrances which I have used before, which seem to wear off sooner.My girlfriend has complimented me a few times, and despite me owning various other brands, she's told me this is her favourite! Aesthetics - I love the bottle, it's a good size, not an over fancy shape but looks rather stylish, and I just love the fabric Lacoste logo in the top right corner. The diffuser seems to apply an appropriate spray. An all in all winning design. Affordability - I think the price is fair considering it's a 50ml bottle,and have to say I will certainly be replacing once depleted (if anything to keep my better half happy!) 5 out of 5 - brilliant! I am always looking to try new fragrances and have seen Lacoste Eau de Lacoste L.12.12 Blanc Edt advertised, so when I saw the campaign I jumped at the chance.The box is compact, as is the bottle its self, and is textured on the sides like a polo shirt, which stops the bottle slipping out of your hand. The cap is a little flimsy, but other than that it looks great.I really like this fragrance, it is clean and light and lasts the whole day. I like the fact it is not an over powering fragrance. My friends at work have commented on it and are thinking of buying it for their boyfriends/husbands and sons.I will definitely be buying this when I run out, and will be puting it on my christmas list![This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Lacoste L.12.12 comes in a simple yet great looking modern box. It looks very stylish.It's honestly one of the nicest scents I have tried .Before trying this product I would of liked to know that it lasts for a while so I don't need to top up whilst being out. its inspired by the iconic polo shirt. It's fresh smelling . It would suit any occasion.it appears to be aimed at young men but my father commented how nice it was .He asked what I was wearing and said he will definitely be going to get some for himself(he's 69) The smell lasted for ages on me but it wasn't overpowering .
