I've just bought a nice Trek bike for my commute to work. As luck would have it my wooden shed leans against a solid block wall, just perfect for using this serious item. I suspect any opportunistic thief will be put off by it, although I expect that if they really want to get the bike they would concentrate on the lock as I don't expect this will fail. Fingers crossed anyway!I particularly like that all the kit including the drill bits are included, all you need is a drill. Just a note on fixing it to the wall or floor, there are three points to fix almost like a triangle if you start at the top of the triangle, so to speak, then simply align the second and third points.

Having just had a bike stolen from my garage I decided I really needed to look into some proper security....the dog never even woke up!Ordered the Strong Hold Above Ground lock which arrived very quickly so got down to installing it straight away. Read the instructions but to be honest it was very easy to fit as I have an SDS drill which made like work of making the holes, just needed to get final size correct using the large dill bit supplied with the item.All fitted and road bike now locked to the floor mount which looks and feels 100% solid and secure.Got a door defender on its way as well so feel very secure with door protection and bikes chained to the floor.Excellent product and very easy fitting,

Ordered this to secure the families collection of bikes ( along with a kryptonite bike lock) . Very useful that it came with the necessary drill bits as I had to drill three bolt holes into the wall ( this thing can be fixed to the floor or the walls) . It took me around 15 minutes to fix it in place - again a nice touch that all the bits necessary to secure bolt caps etc were supplied. And that was it. It's not going anywhere and neather are the bikes. If someone tries to take them, they're going to have to take the wall as well...

Really solid lock for securing bikes using chains/locks too and is sold gold secure which attracted me after I had a bike stolen. Floor anchors are the way to go and police recommend this style of protection. Generally 10% of a bike cost should be spent on decent locks/security. Use this with a Kryptonite Sold Secure gold chain for really strong security. This is provided with the bolts and even the drill bits to drill into the floor. Once bolted in, I would say almost impossible to remove for adhoc thieves. Highly recommended

This anchor is a 'must have' if you've got a motorbike. Easy to install as long as you've got a good drill. If you are using a top quality chain lock like Almax Immobiliser III (16mm links) you will have to modify the plastic cover with a rasp to allow the link to fit through sufficiently to attach it. I think Kryptonite should modify the cover so that 19mm links fit.....ahh but I suppose they want to sell their chain locks which are smaller links and far inferior and easily attacked.

I bought this to secure my bikes in the back garden. Wasn't 100% sure what to expect but figured it would do the job. I was therefore very happy when it arrived. It was a lot bigger than I had pictured it. I lot heavier and considerably more sturdy. The fact that it can with appropriate sized drill bits and fixation bolts was wonderful. The only thing that delayed my placement of the strong hold was having to charge my drill. All in all a VERY good bit of kit.

The wall would have to be taken down to get this bad boy off, the second hole was a bit tricky due to a slight miss alignment but it settled after a bit of gentle persuasion! Follow the instructions to the letter for best install results, as, if you cock up the alignment you will have holes all over the place and need to get new eye bolts!

After having my stolen recently I was looking for something secure - Great product although a little hard to secure in to the ground, follow the instructions to the letter, and you should be ok. Other than this, very impressed and they will now have to take my whole garden path if they are going to take my bike again

Easy to install using the drill bits supplied although if drilling a concrete floor you may benefit from an SDS drill on hammer setting. Once bolted in position you just hammer home the ball bearings so that know one can use an alllen key to unbolt. Highly recommended piece of security.

large with all the trimmings. You need somewhere concrete to attach it to. it comes with its own rag boats and cement fittings. You need to supply the solid concrete structure to attach to and drill. can be on the wall or on the floor. Easy to drive over if required.

A little awkward to get good placement, but hopefully twice as difficult to remove. With smooth edges and a fold down shackle its less of a trip hazard and won't damage tires if you ride over it. Loved the fact that it comes with correctly sized drill bits.

This anchor is a great investment for securing you’re motorbike, the build quality is great and it’s super easy to install (they even give you drill bits you need for the job) you can bolt it to the ground or (as what I’ve done) bolt it to the wall.

(+)Easy to install if you have a power driller. (-)Once you hit the provided bearing balls into the allan holes, even you won't be able to remove the bolts, so it will stay there forever and ever and ever...

A very strong and well designed ground anchor. I wont worry about leaving my bike in the shed when this is anchored to the floor and the bike is secured with a Kryptonite New York Fahgettaboutit Chain Lock.

The picture of this dosn't do it justice ,its big and heavy well made and im sure the floor will come up before this fails .Bargin price nobody could do it cheaper when i ordered .
