This is a no-nonsense bike lock which in my view is especially useful and handy because of its compact size. The 15mm thick cable is thicker and more difficult to cut through than most cable locks and its 65cm length (which is roughly 2ft), it's long enough to lock the bike frame to most things. (The illustration is misleading as it appears to be a photo of the Kryptoflex cable that comes in the longer, coiled length.)

First, the keys were really stiff in the lock initially so I rubbed some Crankalicious Scence Friction chain oil on the keys and put a tiny drop in the lock and now the keys are silky smooth. Second, I had to use my smallest files to make the tiny hole in the key big enough to fit on my key ring. Apart from that the Kryptonite 1565 cable lock is fabulous and does exactly what I wanted.

Fantastic easy to use lock, sits nice and flush on my bike and is really useful for quickly locking the front end of the bike to cycle parks for a short time. For additional long term safety I'd recommend buying a extension cable so you can get the rear wheel in or buying a longer version of this product.

The item was an ok but tight fit on my hybrid bike. I eventually managed to fit it in a position not shown on the instructions. The main failing is a lack of rain cover for the lock. The lock is completely exposed and eventually rain will get in and rust up the mechanism

Looks like a strong cable lock which would put off the chancers in life. Easy to mount on the frame and has an easy release. I bought this as an additional lock to another Krypoflex lock as thieves tend to take a wheel if not the whole bike. Recomended.

This will not stop a reasonably determined thief but it is good lightweight lock which is more convenient to carry and use for deterrence than would be a heavier, if more secure, alternative.

It's shorter than I expected.I had some difficulty making use of it, but at least it should add an extra layer of security for my bike, in addition to using Kryptonite New York U locks.

this is a great way to lock your bike, very secure, and a good way to attach this piece of kit to your bike frame, its a must for any enthusiast.

High quality but dont use these as your primary lock... I think it says so on the package. Motorbike chains are best as primary lock.

Solid lock, wouldn’t leave the bike on the street secured with it but spot on for on the train while commuting with a Brompton.

It is good for use and long enough. It's a pity it hasn't higher security rating. It is praised by police.
